Look closely it is NOT chain driven but ( silent belt drive) similar to most Harley Davidson. No loss in power to rear with next to nothing in maintenance.
A chain driven scooter is nothing new. The Heinkel Tourist from the 1950's were chain driven so was the Maico Mobil. I am sure there must have been a few more companies producing chain driven scooters.

This is the European Version, target audience in Italy. Haven't seen the US Spec version yet.
I was really hoping for a 700cc model.
