Jeez , that is BRILLIANT ! Is that your own arrangement? Loved it - I only knew the Dan version myself, not being a jazz follower. Superb picking, my friend, and great rodent pics to enhance the perkiness of the tune.
@jimguitarfan Thanks Jim! Yes I had a Steely Dan chord book, but the original is in Cm so I just transposed all the chords into Em (much more finger-friendly) then tried to find out how to wrap the tune roundabout them. It's a rough version though - if you listen to the original, there are some sections I had to miss out because I ran out of talent :)))
Martin, I made a first ( rough, lol) comment on it while waiting for it to be done loading, but now that I listened to it all, all I can say is, " you did it AGAIN!!!" It is SO COOL!!! what do you mean, " very rough" ? It is a hit!! And you know how to make squirrels feel special too, lol
@Oswlek THAT'S what I tried to put in words a couple of times! Thanks, Oswlek!!
by the way, Martin, you got another fan lately, the guy likes your style and basically comes to the same conclusion than WE do! Casual style breathing sinceritiy!
Very nicely done, Sir! The opening sounds almost classical. You gave the piece an almost melancholy feel in its pace (which I like). Is that a regular tuning? Mr. Squirrel made for a very entertaining video! Nice to see you here again! ~Jon
Sweet! Makes me want to get up and dance :) Great finger-pickin' performance. All stars ************

Wonderful treatment of the Duke's first theme song, pre-dating the more famous "Take the 'A' Train." ... I always enjoy your work.

You call that a squirrel? A right pansy, HE is! But I did like the way he stopped and stared off the blackbird. That redeemed him in my eyes.
Oh, and by the way- GREAT guitar piece! M

@WeepingZeeGuitars That blackbird could take him, because that's a Scottish blackbird.
