just saw this vid..yes your right he is a Madagascar spiny. I also have one and he needs a heat lamp and mat and is vegetarian so try him with peppers and other fruit and veg. try hand feeding him, I do and mine is very tame! he looks to be about 4 years old and will not grow much bigger but take good care of him and plenty of interaction will help him
it might be, but i don`t see any with the spiny tail`s unless i`m not looking at the right pics , you should send pics to a reptile zoo and ask them just to be sure!
You have a Madagascar Collared Iguana. I'm putting a link on care in a message for you. They are mainly arboreal, so you want to get some nice branches and things in ther fir it to climb on! Glad you rescued it.

thats definitely a collared lizard you can tell cause of the black band round its neck. cool lizard! and an interesting pet!
