ok my cuz told me they were called that cuz its for gurls who like it in the ass and guy squirt on the tattoo....idk i really dont care what there called i dont give a fuck what ppl think...i have 1 and i dont like that at all.....and never will ppl need to get the fuck over it and let them make there own choice and not be judged by it...if they want a LOWER BACK tattoo its ok ..or it should be and not call them tramp stamps

people call them trampstamps because some time in the 1950's (i might be wrong) or 1980's or somthing, loads of girls got the lower back tattoo, and they all looked so simlar, it looked like theyd just stood in a line and got stamped, plus most of them looked either trampey or whoreish, so they got the name 'trampstamp' some people dont realise this only requires to the tribal plain ones, now most girls have colour, butterflys, flowers etc, they are NOT trampstamps (:

I agree..I have a lower back tatoo of a sunflower and I see nothing trampy or whorey about that...It pisses me off when ppl say oh you have a tramp stamp? I'm like NO I have a lower back tatoo...& I don't see why ppl are so harsh about lower back tatoos but not side or hip tatoos..I think everyone should stop being so Judgemental and let people make their own choices without labeling them for it.I happen to hate tramps and never been one, so I really hate the fact that ppl call them tramp stamps
