Was this given another name in Dissidia? I always thought it was just "Battle of four fiends"

@the666thnecrophiliac no, it's original name was always the dreadful battle, it's just named differently in some versions of the game and such

@CloudGaara9 It's used for Golbez during the game and it's also used at the end of the game for Zemus and all of the monsters you fight to get the special equipment in the Lunar Core. (IE, Crystal Sword, White Lance, Masamune and Murasame, and I believe the Ribbons you get for Rosa and Rydia) Those are the ones I remember, anyway. there could be more.

This theme always reminds me of the intense scene with Edge and Rubicante when Edge learns flood and blitz, and when Edge does this theme plays building up Edge's rage, was truly awesome. Edge was and still is a Final Fantasy True Badass.

@ScrambledAndBenedict um FF came out in America already so right now your talking about a completely different game, it's ff4 it always was but was translated into ff2 because of the fact that square didn't port over ff2 and 3 same with 5 leading to ff6 being called 3 while the original versions of the game stayed in Japan so please start calling ff2 ff4

don't get me wrong, i love all boss battle themes, but this is the one songs that gave me that sense of dread and panic fighting the fiends, it put me on edge, the songs gets you in the right mood for a serious fight. thats my opinion anyway

im glad they went with a reaarangement than the original versions for dissidia. In my perspective, this arrange is slightly slower than the DS version but has a more heroic and epic feel to it. I still like both versions a lot, cuz Dreadful Fight is like one of my top favorite battle thmese in the franchise.
