  • Alright, who's the MotherF**K*R that slipped their finger off their mouse button and accidentally hit the dislike button?

  • yes

  • pretty well ridiculous. i love seeing him play gibson for once

  • Last comment was 5 months ago. I cannot allow this to continue.

  • The SG changes some things up... cool tone and sounds

  • Hmmm....there was a reason he used a strat most of the time.

  • 42,961 views not one dislike, there's class ,good to see so many people still enjoy proper music . ;-) x

  • His Fender sounds better...

  • I agree, the cameraman and director were really out to lunch on this one, had no idea who they had in their camera lens.

  • Rather sad that the cameraman and director of this shoot had no idea, for the most part, how important Jimi's fingerwork was on his guitar. They wasted an enormous amount of footage on shooting Jimi from the back. Good post though, enjoyable just the same.

  • @Indianart1 They shoulda been shooting mitchell too he's just as good as hendrix imo, a perfect match.

  • god - DAMN ..

  • yeah i think i'm gay now...

  • Only one man IMO was in the same league as this man and that was the genius of Peter Green.

  • That's right- Don't wanna see no goddamn freaking faggot disliking some magic and holy stuff like these masterpiece.

  • i love how there is nodislikes in this video specially for 40,000 people watching this

  • i think god created video so we could watch this. that is SPECIFICALLY why GOD created video. so we could watch THIS video. im sure of it. sometimes i think i REALLY love jimi hendrix, but i know its not true. i love YOU god because i know you created video for the sole purpose of showing me how amazing jimi hendrix was with a guitar. when jimi was born it wasnt HIS head that popped out first. it was the stock of that guitar.

  • -Do bands likes Zeppelin, Floyd, Joplin, Doors, Hendrix, and The Who give you chills? Are you physically attracted to seeking truth in music?

If you think this is good well...Introducing the next big thin my channel attempts to open your mind up to a whole new world of musical truth. Don't forget to subscribe =]

  • i think hes not happy with the SG..play pretty messed up, not thight...

  • I love how the camera is positioned so perfectly so we can't see him play. Bloody hell were all the cameras mounted on stage right?

  • @Harakudoshi904

If you think this is bad, you want to see his Berkely show in May 1970. The guys on the cameras were off their heads. Jimi performed an incredible version of Hear My Train A Comin lasting 12 minutes.

But the "camera guys" only got about 4 minutes off it.

  • que chiflado este hendrix

  • Wow man. Like, I watch all these Red House covers, I watch all these other blues players and I think "Maybe Jimi ain't all that special, these guys are awesome." and then I come back here and Jimi just tears me apart with this, so slow, so confident, so fucking soulful. Wow.

  • @Lastaccountgothacked not red house, but listen to my verion of born under a bad sign

  • Sounds like he has his wah on.

  • 0 dislikes....... EXACTLY HOW A JIMI HENDRIX VIDEO SHOULD BE. :)

  • @MrOppi3 Why hasn't anyone thumbs up'd this yet??

  • @Adonijah7 Because thier too busy thumbing up this video instead lol wich is totally cool with me

  • @MrOppi3 +1

  • and some faggot had to ruin it

  • don't forget about mitch mofo mitchell.

  • he is too high

  • @samrebardi accually i dont think hes high in this one.... well mabye pot idk it is hendrix...but deff no acid

  • Blues Master Jimi Hendrix!

  • So good. Isn't there one where he uses a flying v?

  • HOW DOES THIS ONLY HAVE 22,00 VIEWS?!?

  • @bornaround04 cause ppl today rather see other people getting kicked in the balls or doing something stupid on camera...depressing

  • This is so cool! I come from sweden! i've been at that place.

  • is he really using all those stacks?

  • jimi plays better than me ='(

  • @achemaro Don't feel bad, Jimi plays better than everyone...

  • whow;;that SG is soooooooo beautiful

  • @aspersive I didn't realize The Experience were all gone : ( I shook hands with Mitch Mitchell once in a bar in LA. I was so much in awe that I couldn't get an autograph or hardly even speak. I did manage to say I like your music and he said "thanks".

  • I guess I never saw Jimi Hendrix so sad or dismotivated like in this video...you can clearly see it at 4:31.Sounding great as always though.

  • Incredible to realize that Jimi, Mitch, and Noel are all gone now.

  • @aspersive Mitch and Noel are dead? Damn. I've always said that Mitch itchell is easily the most underrated rock drummer of all time.

  • @polymath7 Noel died in the late 90's, and Mitch about a year or so ago. Billy Cox is still touring occasionally, but Buddy Miles is also gone.

  • sweet sound-looks really sober-playing to play. We miss ya bro

  • His voice sounds very rich on this footage. People tend to forget what a distinctive singing voice Jimi had as well. All that guitar playing stuff overshadows this! You can hear his voice somewhere and tell who it is.

  • there is no "right" guitar for diff genres of music, its more on personal preference.

  • sound like Buddy Guy tone

  • What... Jimi without his Fender in Sweden!

  • 1:04 lol stevie ray vaughn in disguise

  • god plays the blues

  • Comment removed

  • And apparently Jimi before dying was doing good choices with gibsons. Even the late Les Paul (the creator of his anonymous guitars) met him!

  • I suppose Sg is punchier and more expressive than a strat. I own an Epiphone SG and tried to explore teh sound of a strat (squier and fender), and my SG (and obviously its Gibson version) seems more versatile than Strat and other fenders...for punk, psychedelic, avant-garde, jazz, surf (yes sounds cool with a sg), blues (i'm not a fan, probably strat is the best in that genre, its sound is bluesy if i'm not wrong), post-punk, goth, hard rock, etc. Its expression and punch.

  • Gibson SG - best damn guitar ever made. At that time everybody played it. Clapton, Mick Taylor, Hendrix (sometimes), and Townshend. Then along came Angus and he played it too.

  • Whoa -- he totally channeled Albert King at 3:08.

  • This is true guitar porn. Just look at THAT GUITAR! I would die for one of those. No, maybe not die, but at least give an arm away.. No, that would make it quite hard to play it when I get it. Hmm, how about a foot?

  • @Jirlow Why would anyone trade a Gibson SG for your foot?

  • @Jirlow why not save up and buy one?

  • Love this version. A lot different than San Diego, but just as nice.

  • sweet i love that he had to play the guitar uside down and didnt restring

  • @roganrocker This guitar IS restrung left-handed, but on occasion he would play a right-handed guitar as is, but I think that was when there were no other options.

  • Never seen this! Very coool!!!!

  • i love that sg custom

  • @RhythmNC

i love that too, but i think he sounds better with the stratocaster..i bought an sg today (online) lets see how it feels/look, if its good i keep it, if not i buy a stratocaster..

  • @TheMusicchannel23 it aint bad its just sounds different and your mind rejects the sound but he is playing wonderfull

  • the version i love the most.

  • wonderful ..

    thank you for your sharing

  • Yeah he really was the originator. He looks really bored silly. He actually said before he started playing that they would just jam cause they hadn't played together in a while or soemthing like that. It was kinda funny cause he told them basically just listen to the music while they jammed cause they wouldn't know the difference anyway if they'd practiced it or not.

  • Awesome is not enough of a word....Obviously I'm being redundant to type that I miss what could've been if he didn't make that way premature exit....'Just sayin'.....

  • love it jimi at his best

  • Opinions aside, Clearly Jimi was reading from a different play book than everybody else.

  • @shaserv No, he was writing the new playbook.

  • @shaserv I think he was writing it man.:)

  • nice!!!!!!

  • Cool !

You have that vid too !
