Interesting commentary Rabbi. There is an inconstancy though with Genesis 18-19 story. In Judges 19:24-25 it states (in relation to the story told in Genesis 18-19) that "they knew her (Lot's concubine) and abused her all night until morning; and when the day began to break, they let her go." Which would suggest they did in fact take a woman to rape, at least temporally, and did not refuse her.
