@sagefreak you and your partner don't evolve. Although when you graduate from the guild you will recive a magical spring that lets you evole pokemon. If you want a swapert or a fully evolved form of a poekemon you can recruit one, and make it you controlible carachter

@Diamonddeathness In Sky, there is a new store outside Treasure Town called Spinda's Cafe; sometimes you could run into a Secret Bazaar in the middle of a dungeon, which is like a store that can appear anywhere, like a floor trap. And finally, there are Special Episodes you can unlock that are playable from the main menu. In a Special Episode, you can play as a diffrent character then yourself. In one of them, you can even play as Grovyle, after he returns to the future.
