I love the slip move, or get out of the way move, he did! I use it alot when I spar against boxers and they say it's like I just dissapear, then they just get hit from behind. And love the laughing during the demo,just to let you know, kicking your butt is all in good fun.
I see a lot of techniques where the tori just collapses the wrist as if the opponent isn't resisting at all. But on the street if the opponent has his armed tightened up, how are you going to bend the wrist?
Another thing abou this style which i have trained with this guy. If you have your fist balled up it works against you. One thing we do is let someone grab our wrist while our fist are balled and we try to raise our arms and we can't. Now if the hand is open no matter how strong the opponent is we can resist. Also i just tried resisting while doing that move on my wrist and almost injured myself.lol

if you try and lift your arm up and direct them, they can use gravity and push you down.
but if you drop your elbows to get them low and manipulate their wrist as you go, gravitys on their side and nothing can stop you from dropping it.
