  • The Music made the Orange so Badass

  • FUCKING AWESOME!!!!!!!! DAYM!

  • ive never been so excited about a fruit splashing into some water

  • I never knew dropping an orange could be so god damn cool...

  • That scared the shit out of me with the music LOL

  • heaviest orange in the world, he had to hold up his arm to drop it XD

  • epic !!

  • il watch the rest tommorow

  • I'm loving the use of the Batman Begins soundtrack, adds so much epicness haha, great slow motion too

  • /watch?v=sD_NuxpavK4

  • This is very nice. I am using Final Cut Pro with Twixtor 4.5 plugin, but can't get nearly as good of a staff as this. Do you know if it would be possible to replicate this in Final Cut Pro? Thank you for this great video!

  • @sanoturman

Sure, I did it in Premiere Pro, but Twixtor should provide the same functionality in Final Cut Pro. A little hint: use track points (see my Twixtor tutorial).

  • this is very very nice ^^ ilove that

  • That waas Too Slooooooooooooooowwwwww! cant't feel the visual ! i

  • Hahahaha after you showed the "Slow motion" I was like meh thats actually not that slow so this sucks. Then BOOM I was like OMFG GOD THATS AWESOME!

  • i did a similiar one, check it our at my channel!:)

  • Go on my channel :) I have make Twixtor , thanks (scooter )

    And great vid' !

  • Oh my f***ing god. 1:14

  • AMAZING!

  • @DreamaginaryPictures Hey great vid ,Im trying to this with my cannon 550d , Ive tryed 50fps and 60 fps but when twixtoring it it just warps like crazy any ideas , Not enough light maybe ? thanks in advance.

  • @oBri550o

I guess it looks like the short sequence connecting the two slow motions in my own video (at 1:30). That happens when you blend across more than two frames and slow it down too much. If you want to make your footage extremely slow, then try blending from just one frame to the next (also watch the Twixtor tutorial in my channel where I adress warping problems by adding track points).

  • @DreamaginaryPictures Thankyou for replying so quick ive watched your tutorial but i dont use that program, but still im going to try with my current software (sony vegas) and if still no luck i shall try your software .

  • great now i feel like watching the dark knight just from listening to the music

  • Comment removed

  • Thats to fucking cool

  • what is name this music??? :D

    good project ;)

  • @serdarbasboga

Thx! It's "The Cave" from the Batman begins OST.

  • @serdarbasboga It just screams Hans Zimmer.

  • no way :O

  • Too slow bruv.

  • amazing settings!

  • The dark orange

    orange begins

    and as already stated, orangeception.

    Ahaha great video man

  • look at my video over there -------->

  • first of all this is not extreme.... it's only 50fps.

  • @noahsoskha118 please google Twixtor.

  • niceee i just bought the same lens for the same camera, what SD memory have u got?

  • @cerealfede

The lens is really good for the cheap price, for sure! I use class 10 cards from extrememory.

  • Great job incorporating the music in :P

  • 50FPS (because of european electric power) <- what? I don't get it. What does electric power have to do with frame rate? Why not just select NTSC mode and use 60FPS?

  • @AlphaSphere

Because the european electric power uses 50 Hz and when shooting in 60 fps I had some serious flickering of the lights at such a fast shutter speed :(

So I had to switch to 50 fps. I definitely would have prefered 60 fps.

  • @DreamaginaryPictures "when shooting in 60 fps I had some serious flickering of the lights at such a fast shutter speed"

So is it the shutter speed or the frames per second that matters?

    Probably both actually.

  • Did anyone else get scared absolutly shitless when it slammed the water and the bass dropped?

  • lol at end when it fell :)

  • Can you say BATMAN?!

  • @2FuriousFreak see in google.

  • Which lens did you use for this? :D

  • @Nurdenburg

I used the Canon EF 50mm 1.8 II lens. For further info about the used equipment and camera settings see the description of the video.

  • What is Twixtor ? D:

  • Epic song..What is it name?

  • @ThePrissyKhan

It's "The Cave" from the Batman begins OST.

  • @DreamaginaryPictures Awesome video man, but I have 1 question. I use Twixtor in Vegas, my camera is set to 2000fps, 1600 ISO but when I still slow it down its all mixed and looks horrible. Can you help?

  • @AgentJuly19903

I made a tutorial (see my channel). However, some people already reported to me that they were not able to use track points in Sony Vegas. But maybe you will get along without track points.

  • YEAH BATMAN

  • i dont think that this is inpossible with this camera..

  • waiiii whattt? how did u get it to be soo smooth at 50 fps?!?

  • Everything is sick in slow motion = FACT

  • so dammm epic -___-

  • Comment removed

  • nice video mate. btw, how many fps you record? 60 right?

  • @IIlSearch

    Thanks a lot! :)

Actually I had to shoot with 50 fps because the fast shutter (1/1250 sec) didn't work well with my lamps and the european electricity network (50 Hz).

  • @DreamaginaryPictures hmmm nice! i'll get t2i soon and i wanna record some footage like that.. use some "magic bullet looks" to make a nice colors, i'll be awesome dude, i can teach you if you wanna.. :)

  • Ahhhh yes, Twixtor. The one effect you can use while dropping a orange and STILL look badass

  • @itzFeArd OK...I didn't exactly literally LOL, but I did do a decent chuckle on that one. NICE! :)

  • Nice job with the EXTREME slow mo! I find water very difficult to slowdown that much. Check out my attempt

  • ha love the top comments, i was just thinking 'most epic orange drop ever'

  • a question where I can get the plug in for Adobe Premiere Pro CS5

  • the batman song?? reeally lol :p nice vid

  • but I don`t get it :S Your camera was in burst shooting mode ( or in filming-video mode)? thanks

  • @darkskytm

Thanks for your comment! The camera was in video mode, but shooting with a very fast shutter (1/1250 sec).

  • @DreamaginaryPictures rhanks for your answer :) keep the good work up :)

  • amazing mate!

  • @darkskytm

    Thx! :)

  • does twixtor like come with the camera please answer ! ? :P

  • @blackdeadsk8er

No, it's a plug-in for Premiere Pro, After Effects, Sony Vegas...

  • /watch?v=fSr7S2kx_S4 PLEASE WATCH! i need help with my twixtor, im using sony vegas pro 10 to make it

  • i just got an orangasm.

  • THE DEVIL

  • THE AUDIO!

  • Hans Zimmer and Dreamaginary Pictures just convinced me to buy a 550D T2i :)

  • does twixtor make more fps or smth i dont get it :)

  • @Ignas3runner

That´s right, Twixtor interpolates between the original frames and thus creates new frames.

  • is it possible for canon 500d?

  • @Acidsplasher

In principle you can apply Twixtor to each video, but 50 or 60 fps is recommended.

  • do you need after eeffects to use twixtor

  • @etnies10

No, you can also use Twixtor in Premiere Pro, see my tutorial.

  • Comment removed

  • @funjail ya, water is hard to twistor, checked that video.

  • @funjail true true

  • BATMAN :D

  • is twixtor like faking a slow motion?

  • That's too sexy.

  • COOL!!!!

  • I LOVE THIS VIDEO!

  • I love the Inception music :)

  • @KkPro147

It´s not Inception, it´s Batman begins. But hey, same director, same composer ;)

  • @DreamaginaryPictures Oh shoot, you're right! My badd (:

  • @DreamaginaryPictures Hans Zimmer ? :)

  • @DreamaginaryPictures I think @FresherValleyChill was comically creating a name for ur video. OrangeCeption *mixing the OrangeSlice as the main 'character' and Inception together.

  • can you share with me how you got Twixtor?

  • @bigrndahouse

    revisionfx-dot-com -> products -> twixtor

  • Nice editing with the music.

  • this is really cool :)

  • lol some of the little water drops are like jumping around but still its amazing technology

  • Orangeception.

  • this video reminds me of inception

  • @TremblaySeb i know XD

  • can you please make a tutorial on how you made it so slow? im having trouble.

  • @tommyking253

I already made a tutorial some months ago, it's in my channel.

  • fuckin EPIC

  • HOW MANY FPS?

  • @nisse530

Recorded with 50 fps and rendered with 25 fps.

  • I just used Twixtor with some Motocross footage to make a SUPER slo-mo video. No question you will enjoy it :P, just visit my Channel or Search: Twixtor Test - Super Slow Motion (Motocross). Enjoy.

  • So Canon 550D and T2i is the same camera or what? Nice vid btw!

  • @alebabakebaba

    Thx! :)

Yes, 550D and T2i (and Kiss X4) is the same camera model.

  • @alebabakebaba Yes it is, it's just the international name and the American.

  • Did it take you forever to render?

  • @Nickle2e

It's true, rendering Twixtor scenes takes a while. But that's also depending on your system. Back then, I had a dual-core with 2x3GHz and 4GB RAM and it took about 20 minutes for each of the two slow motion sequences, I guess. But it's worth waiting ;)

  • would this work if i filmed with a canon t3 because i dont know if thefps is high enough

  • @MxPMedia

It will work in principle, but I don't know what it will look like. There might be too much movement between two single frames. If in doubt, just try it ;)

  • @DreamaginaryPictures ok thank you, how much is the pogram?

  • @MxPMedia this is made on a program called twixtor its smoths the clip frame to farme so normall cammeras can shoot at fps like 1000

  • WOAH... that was awesome!

  • Nice :) And thanks for the tip to use tracking points ;)

  • What is the music you used? It's pretty awesome please reply!

  • @SuperAzproductions

The track is called "The Cave" from the Batman begins OST.

  • @DreamaginaryPictures Can you please help me get twixtor everyone i tried a big x is in the middle of the screen and when i try to render it wont let me! please PM me Thanks !

  • woww......

  • Hi!

Great Video! How did you menage the F1.8? I can adjust my 550D only to f4.0 ( Shutter Speed 1250)

  • @Kingslime86

Thanks! If you use the Canon 50mm 1.8 II (or a similar lens) and your camera is set on manual exposure in video mode, then you should be able to set the f-stop to 1.8.

  • @DreamaginaryPictures

ah okay i see. My Kit Lens is an Canon EF-S 18-55mm 1:3,5 - 5,6. So i guess that That's the problem i have. Thanks for the fast answer!

  • made me flinch.

  • really nice to watch!!!! :) well done

  • No that is extreme slo-mo. Would be really amazing if you could somehow pan around the object on some fast track.

  • @DreamaginaryPictures that was amazing wow

  • lol mate thats extreme slow mo allright!!

  • you ruined it by completely pausing and not slowing at all randomly ... would have been better if it was all slow motion alittle faster than the extreme one you did :P

  • @Seiferzed

There is no pausing in the video, but when not watched in full screen it may seem like the motion is really freezed... The two sequences with extremely low speed are blendings from only one frame to the subsequent frame. If you blend over more than two frames at such a low speed, you get serious blending artifacts like in the short sequence connecting the two extreme slow motion passages. This in turn, is because of the fast shutter speed.

  • @Seiferzed : that is your opinion! I liked it very much and think the alternating between slow motion, normal speed and ultra slow motion made it great! :)

  • that was sick

  • That's wild..Awesome job..

  • @JJBfilm

    Thanks a lot :)

  • Nice Batman music sync, I'm looking for a good 60fps camera got any recommendations?

  • @jsnmcmichael

If you're looking for a DSLR, I'd say get the Canon 600D/T3i or the Canon 60D. Both have vari-angle LCD and can shoot 1080p/24 fps and 720p/60fps. If you're also into photography the 60D might be the better choice (for example more images per second, bigger buffer...). If your budget is low, get the Canon 550D/T2i. It has the same sensor as the 600D and 60D but lacks a few features like the vari-angle LCD and so on. If money isn't a problem, get the Canon 5D ;)

  • @DreamaginaryPictures hi, im concidering buying a 550d..i read a lot about this 'magic lantern' software, what do you know of this and whats your opinion on using it on a 550d? great vid btw :)

  • @TIJSNL

Magic Lantern is a really great tool and provides MANY useful and important features. The current version also works very stable, I think. Everybody who is into DSLR-filmmaking and owns a Canon DSLR should definitely try it, as it is completely removable if you don't like it. To quote Luke Neumann: "Adding this firmware will take your 800$ camera and turn it into a 2000$ beast.". I agree... Btw, if you have the extra money, then get a 600D, cause the vari-angle LCD is very helpful.

  • @DreamaginaryPictures Well i got the extra money, could get myself a 5d Mk 2 but for hobby photography thats just not appropriate:P 600d with the vari-angle screen seems worth it..but isnt it very easy to break/get sand underneath? i saw the Neumann video, and i do have trust in Magic Lantern to not damage my camera. however it would be my first DSLR, wouldnt like to brick it. :P

  • @TIJSNL Yeah, for hobby photography a 550D, 600D or 60D would be fine. If you're planning to do a lot of sports photography, the 60D might even be the better choice because it shoots more photos/second and has a bigger picture buffer. Unfortunately, I don't have experience with the vari-angle screen, so I don't know how solid it is built. Concerning Magic Lantern: I also had some issues (camera didn't work properly) with one of the previous versions, but the current version seems fine.

  • @jsnmcmichael Canon 600D.

  • @jsnmcmichael The canon t2i is good. If you don't want to spend as much money you can get a Kodak playsport, buy that doesn't have nearly as many possibilities as a canon DSLR.

  • Very nice work!

  • @JamesCGI

    Thanks! :)

  • whats the music you play in the movie?

  • @WobysWarZone

It's "The Cave" from the soundtrack of Batman begins.

  • its soo smooth, everytime i use twixtor its always so warped...ohh well.

  • @xXxjacob928xXx Try to have good lighting pretty much the middle of the day, and make the percentage to 2 percent up to 20 depending how close or far you are from the object your slowing down and only slow down the parts that are important like he did, which was in the middle of the splash, lastly make sure theres not TOO much motion in your shot, if there is slow it down to 2-4 percent for least warping just trial and error

  • @KJfilming

I shot the footage @50 fps. The final video is in 25 fps.

  • thats really really fake. but it looks not bad at all.

expensive Highspeed Cameras like the Phantom flex, are the real deal.

  • @rainarzufall

Yeah, the real deal for $150K ;)

  • did you buy the full version? or is this the trial version?

  • @brembohh

    this is the full version

  • @DreamaginaryPictures so this is around $500+ right?

  • Hi Thanks for coming back where can you download Twixtor trial download l tried but cannot find a web site ?

  • @LJK109

Just google for Twixtor and then download it from the software company (RE:Vision Effects, Inc.)... The version you can download automatically is a trial version.

  • I don't understand... I had tryied to make a video, but what does it mean: " exposure: 1/1250 sec, f/1.8, ISO 800 ", it's a video, how can I modify the shutter speed????? ( i've got a canon eos 550d...

  • @Eltura

In movie mode go to the menu and change "movie exposure" from auto to manual. Then you can set the shutter, f-stop and iso. I'd always recommend shooting in manual mode...

  • Great video and like us love the music and you editing was bang on nice shoot and lights work great. Can you do this with any other video editing software?

  • @LJK109

    Thanks a lot :)

As far as I know, Twixtor works on multiple platforms, like Premiere Pro, After Effects, Final Cut Pro or Avid.

  • what's the name of the font you used to write "Dreamaginary Pictures" ??

  • @Sivgaardproductions

    The font is called "Ringbearer".

  • Excellent video man. Question, where's the music from and where can I get it? Is it from Dark Knight?

  • @TheoTsanas

It's "The Cave" from Batman Begins OST.

  • I LOVE THE MUSIC
