  • Awe inspiring, isn't it? This is music, this is beyond commercial excess and triviality. This borders the spiritual plane of existence.

  • Talk Talk is always a group i have liked this i was a child and especially this song where Mike Hollis says "Breathe on me eclipse my mind" and a piece of poetry.

  • ahhh, love this album, wish i still owned it--that was over 20 yrs ago & it is still like yesterday & still flows through my veins like liquid sound whenever I hear it played thank you for tuning-in the individuals who are in-tune by sharing TT

  • @aglaia17 ,

I agree....all the albums I have owned..( and I have owned hundreds), this one has stayed in my memory like a beautiful dawn... one of the best of all time..

  • Best song on the album, together with April 5th. So otherworldly.

  • If EMI let Mark go on his way, i think that his fans can listen more of this kind of music. Who is Emi to tell us what should we listen, only music for money?

  • It´s funny to know that in facebook your fans calls you chameleon in your birthday isn´t it?

  • beautiful

  • best song ever!

    TIGERJUNGE

  • its about time mark hollis/talk talk were in the music hall of fame.

  • A preview to "spirit of eden". Should be heard together with the following title from the album (time its time)

  • @kriticitizen And "April 5th", not to forget "It's getting late in the evening" and "For what it's worth"... But also "I don't believe in you" and "Happiness is easy"... Hmmm the whole album is leading to Spirit of Eden. Did you know that EMI forced them to produce a hitsingle after they heard the result of The colour of spring? That became Life's what you make it. If EMI was smart then they could have known that Talk Talk's next album would be even more away from the hits... Thank God for that

  • This song is probably where the riff started between Talk Talk and EMI. This song represents their departure from the commercial to the more experimental and progressive.

  • Talk Talk is great, though in my opinion there earlier stuff pales in comparision to all of thier work including this album and those afterwards, but whatever they made up for it big time. Mark Hollis is a fucking genius.

  • What a voice!

  • it scared me 01:50 XD

    but the song is beautiful
