  • I wish I could translate every single word Don Flamenco says in this game. He speaks spanish, and I have a good translator on my computer that I could probably use.

  • i wish he was to dude

  • GOLDEN NIPPLE!

  • He's the only fighter in this game I can understand 100% because I'm Portuguese and our language is very similiar to Spanish XD

  • @Random90sKid nao es o unico :D

  • Wow. Those Japanese have your typical Spaniard down cold!

  • im spanish, but i dont like paella nor flamenco haha stereotyped, i wish the little mac name were "fat macdonald" instead xD

  • Was mario too busy making another washed up game to be ref in this?

  • cito a dross:

"entre don flamenco de punch out y vega de street fighter, no se que mania tendra los japoneses, por tocar los cojones a los españoles."

  • @dankuro97 Completamente de acuerdo no se como verán a los españoles pero desde luego gente así no se ven por las calles de españa como para tener esa idea en los videojuegos xD saludos desde canarias

  • @McCanario1 pues creo q nos deben imajinar corriendo x las calles lanzando rosas a carmenes , tocando las castañuelas , comiendo paella mientras nos persiguen toros XD

  • And I guess that mac is american ? you know, american !

The country where all the "normal" people lives.

  • @janmansde3dede I don't know, disco kid is from america too...

  • Now THAT was a douchebag.

  • Hope there is an irish midget in that game

  • @BinLadensAccount *ahem* Aran Ryan

  • omg O_o", I'm spanish... but anyway I love Don Flamenco xD

  • I wish mario was the referee again.

  • lol hes spanish, he says Venga venga!: cmon cmon! Que pasa!?: whats the matter!? perfecto: PERFECT

  • @Maxipad44142 hes sayng venga venga = come on come on!!

que pasa quieres mas = whats the matter you want some more

    perfecto = perfect

  • wow, this game is even MORE stereotypical than I remember

  • Well, look at it this way: Every character in the game is over the top, even the American ones, so I wouldn't say they went overboard at all. It's all in good fun.

  • @theamazinglizard but if there was a character named Tyrese Jenkins that came to the ring with fat white women while eating fried chicken, everyone would say it was racist.

  • I'm spanish.

When I have to fight with somebody I always taunt him by telling him "venga!" and calling him "toro". Besides this, I always try to smell as many flowers as I can before and during the fight.

Al the people here in Spain do the same too...

  • I know right?

    Good ol' family stereotypes!

    ^_^

  • WOW

the spanish must be fucking show offs...well their all trying to be ^_^

  • @DOCBETTER SARCASM EPIC WIN!

  • XD m cae bien don falmenco

  • game trailers are bad video game player

for almost every game they play they suck at it.

  • You should check their Castlevania Judgment review... ~_~

    Holy Water = Blue Potion

    ... -_-

  • M.Bison:of course!

  • ok I seen their review and I didn't see the blue potion part but I do see Simon from Castlevania

  • Don Flamenco was so easy. I'm stuck on Soda Popinski he's hard.

  • i just bought it im stuck on him

  • Oleeeeee

  • this game is the best for wii!!

  • es español castellano no español argentido idiota

  • damn they really did a good jo recreatin the fight from the old ass nes version. like i love how he kinda taunts you and raises his fists just like the old version

  • i just defeat soda popinski in world circuit, when the last one is my opponent ill reply again

  • wtf lol

  • the referee should still be mario, now that would be funny

  • The ref kinda looks like J. Jonah Jameson from spiderman.

  • stupid.

  • Man i love the voice of this guy :D lol(yeah i understand what he says)

  • the last fighter is mr sandman then it said that donkey kong could be in it

  • why didn't they left Don Flamenco's NES voice: "Pla Pla Pla!"

  • Because that would be stupid.

  • by the way there is already a mexican boxer in the punch out series, Masked Muscle from super punch out for snes.

    -------------------------------------------------

porcierto ya hay un boxeador mexicano en la serie punch out, Masked Muscle que sale en super punch out para super nintendo

  • im buying this today =D

  • Yeah its awesome!

  • I can't believe Mario isnt the referee.

    Still this game rocks!!!

    EVERYONE JUST BUY IT NOW!!!!!!

  • I might tommorow

  • well is the arcade referee

that is even more old school.

  • the dude has a wig :o

  • The guy playing lil mac sucks at 0.49 and on

  • Don Flamenco is my favorite. He's the only one that actually taunts you.

  • donkey kong

  • haha, his name in english is:Sir Flamingo XD

  • the funniest part is when his toupee comes off then hes easy to ko thinks hes hot untilt he wig comes off

  • Venga!

  • Has anyone listen on how a spaniard/spanish people talk? They really sound like they're whistling ! This Don FLA is totally Mexican. OH AH ! Maybe he's GALLEGO

  • You forget, Japanese people don't seem to know the difference.. I mean look at Resident Evil 4 ... They are sooo mexican and not Spaniard..

  • Also check out Bald Bull. He's supposed to be Turkish but he's not.

  • This game was made by Canadians... -_-

  • Gallego people sound more like Portuguese. You fail.

  • game is very stereotypical

  • Is it juste me or is DON FLAMENCO says" ESPERA" before he gets hit at :50 seconds

  • he may have said "mi pelo", you know, the next jab knocked his touppe down.

  • U rite !!!

  • you're right. he says "espera" that in english could be translated as "wait!"

  • don flamenco is spanish

    madrid, spain

    like me!!

  • this is one of the few times that they actually hired people who speak a foreign language as they should, the last time i heard a videogame character speak spanish I needed to read the subtitles, and my native language is SPANISH!

  • Huh. I didn't expect him to have a voice that deep. Points for the Spanish-speaking crowd!

  • kinda stupid how you have to punch so he attacks =P

but Don is only HALF as bad as Aran Ryan, I can't land ONE punch on him XP

  • Wait just a minute... Don Flamenco sounds more like a Mexican. All my life I was thinking he was Spaniar/ Spanish from Spain !

  • He sounds like a Spanish guy

  • "Me has pillao" (you got me there) is a very common Spanish phrase, and it is not used in Mexico... and, he does sound like a spanish guy, not mexican.

  • EXACTLY :)

  • that's more like speedy gonzales, the guy does sound spanish

  • mexicans don't say that. "venga" in english means "c'mon!" a mexican would say "orale!"

  • ...this is spanish of spain, of course o.ô

  • He guarantee he looks Spaniard and he's Spanish is very good

  • im mexican and to me he sounds a lot like a "spanish from spain" to me.

i dont think they repeat "venga, venga" that much though

  • You should know by now that to stereotype a Mexican, he has to be named "Don Mariachi."

"Flamenco" is dance performed mostly in Spain.

  • Comment removed

  • all countries in latinoamerica speak spanish

    it´s similar but not same

brasil tambien deberia quedar fuera jajaja

  • true. in Don Flamenco's case, i would think his Spanish is Castillian, since he's from Spain.

  • It's "What's the matter? Want some more?" to be precise (though its same thing =p)

    0:20 Anda / 0:22 Venga / 0:53 Vamos -> Hurry up / Come

    0:23 Toro -> Bull

    0.24 Fallé -> Failed

0:34 Qué pasa? Quieres más? -> What's the matter? Want some more?

    0:37 Perfecto - > Perfect

0:53 Me has pillado -> You caught me

The spanish may have errors (i'm not Spanish) however the english translation is correct

  • yea your right one advantage white people have is that you guys learn the original spanish. Here we mostly have mexicans. So most of us dont know spain spanish words. Kinda like britain english

  • white people? are you serious?

  • I just know spanish because I'm portuguese and since the portuguese language is very similar to spanish its easy for us to undertand it. However it's hard for british, french, german etc. (white people? do u mean european people?)

I don't know the diference between mexican and the original spanish (and spanish from other countries). Maybe its like brazilian portuguese and the original portuguese.

  • This game needs Tyson

  • no mario ref wtf!!!

  • Perhaps as unlockable...

  • they should have made more "NEW" boxers! instead of just one!

  • que pasa quieres mas means in epspanol. " That Raisin wants more " i think?

  • No...it means "What happen, want some more?".

  • I think it's supposed to mean, "What's up? You want some more?"

  • TORO!

  • It´s awesome that characters speak their native language...

Que pasa quieres mas? - whats up u want some more?

    Perfecto! - kinda ovious

Venga venga! - come on come on!

  • I crak at "me as pillado"

that means "you got me" in spanish

  • OMG! NOT THE HAIR!!!

  • man Don got scalped

  • I think it's a toupee

  • His Spanish doesn't sound very genuine, but it's still fun. D-does he transform after this?

  • who transforms what are you talking about? do you mean giga mac becuse thats only in multiplayer!

  • I think he means Don. Some people think he becomes a darker version of himself because of that magazine that had him holding a black rose.

  • The darker version is actually his Title Defense Mode uniform, he does become darker, and more dangerous...

  • Ah, like in the NES one, where in his rematch he's more aggresive?

  • yeah, he's more aggressive, plus It's harder to knock his toupee out...

  • That's Don for this Title Defense. He decides to go black for the fight.

  • lol i can understand the Spanish he's speaking XD "You want more?" he's saying lol
