It's Kazuma's predecessor also named Kazuma Kiryu and they say that the game will show us the actions of the Past Kazuma that somehow connect with the Future Kazuma

The game is set like 400 hundred years ago or something like that so obviously Kazama wasn't even born but you do play as a member of the Kiryu family i think.
