Every year College teams have different personalities, in 2006 O.U. wears this season with a badge of honor and like another famous person said , " I shall return".
I give props to O.U. as well, their back up quarterback played very well, without him stepping in and doing well, BSU wins in regulation.
Stoops patched a team together that had many problems in 2006, his belief in his Sooner team is what got O.U. to the Fiesta Bowl and the Sooner pride to never give up.

Best game that I have EVER seen! I remember commenting to my friend that night "I can't even watch another game now! I might have to sell my TV!" Note that this was a week before my Buckeyes played for the title in the same stadium, and I was so amazed by the twists in this game (3 times for OU's last 2-point conversion must not be forgotten!) that I couldn't even get hyped for our game. Considering how it turned out, maybe selling that TV would've been the right move...

Great game for sure. I put this game as the 3rd best game ever. I put Texas/USC at #1 and Ohio State/Miami as #2...I like when the two best teams try to impose their will on each other. Man, first I swore the Broncos were going to win, then I was devastated and convinced the Broncos were going to loose after Zabranskys' interception. I couldn't believe that the "circus" play worked. Then putting Peretta in to throw for the touchdown (and it worked!). Then the statue of Liberty play. I was so devestated, and than ecstatic! I couldn't believe that my team put on a game like this! Even grandpa was psyched!

@dougtaylor42 yeah but USC and Texas would have both beaten these teams by 40 points. Texas and USC was for a national championship. better game is the 2005 Rose Bowl and there isn't a question.

Best game that I have EVER seen! I remember commenting to my friend that night "I can't even watch another game now! I might have to sell my TV!" Note that this was a week before my Buckeyes played for the title in the same stadium, and I was so amazed by the twists in this game (3 times for OU's last 2-point conversion must not be forgotten!) that I couldn't even get hyped for our game. Considering how it turned out, maybe selling that TV would've been the right move...

alright people might not care but you do have to agree that this game kicked ass and nobody thaught that the Broncos would win or even think that the Broncos should have been in Division 1 but after 10yrs they have been the most dominate team since 2001 so people shut your damm mouths up got it

Great game for sure. I put this game as the 3rd best game ever. I put Texas/USC at #1 and Ohio State/Miami as #2...I like when the two best teams try to impose their will on each other. That's what those top two games did. I do love how Boise State gave it their all and threw everything at Oklahoma to win.

Man, first I swore the Broncos were going to win, then I was devastated and convinced the Broncos were going to loose after Zabranskys' interception. I couldn't believe that the "circus" play worked. Then putting Peretta in to throw for the touchdown (and it worked!). Then the statue of Liberty play. I was so devestated, and than ecstatic! I couldn't believe that my team put on a game like this! Even grandpa was psyched!

the reason we hate the music is because one of the best parts of watching highlights is hearing the crowd and announcers lose their MIND when something amazing happens. that is half the intensity.
