what a waste of material!Whay somebody would need something like that (of course beside the ability to show the others how rich and cool he is and how high he is above them...)?
Obviously the diamonds are worth more than the rest of the piano while adding nothing to the tonal quality which is all that pianists really care about.
i don't know about you guys but this piano doesn't sound good, i wouldn't pay a penny for that piano, a Ritmuller would kick this piano s diamonds ass, this looks and sounds like shit, women have gone to far...
Sheeessszzzz.......and I didn't even know Librace was still alive.
Bosendorfer's are indeed superb and share the stage with Steinbeck as the world's best pianos....but studding the box with bazzilions of diamonds does not make for better sound. It is the French Poodle of pianos. Librace who love it!!
You would have thought that they'd get someone who could at least PLAY the darn thing properly!! This is the WORST rendition of "Fur Elise" I have EVER heard. It's not even accurate to the original.
The piano? It's hard to say whether it belongs on the concert platform or in a jewelers window! Just like the playing - it's pretty tasteless. I'm surprised at Bosendorfer allowing their name to be put to something like this. Give me their traditional stylings and gorgeous sound any day.
You shoud really play with rounded fingers at all time since the distances bitween notes in this song is not too great. Try to lift your fingers up higher and then hit the key more "deeply", you were just put the finger right on the key and then pulled it down. That way of playing is lack of "energy". If you learn in a musical school, they will never let you hit the key like that.
It dosen't matter what piano you have, what matters is the skill, the expression, the will to practice for hours! People don't need a good piano! they need skill.
To me the sound of a steinway is unmatched, it has this rich warm powefull sound other pianos dont. Only pianos I played that come close to and almost match the sound of a steinway were a kawaii grand in rosewood, and a mason and hamlin grand in rosewood.
@wclmyy I can judge his inexperience just by the sound. And amazing pianists with great tones sometimes have horrible hand gestures. So I don't rely on that too much.
Whohoa, thats some kind of Masterpiece! Even though i'd have chosen a different song than this piece, It sounds really great. I play at a Bösendorfer 1885 whenever I'm at my old house. It's freaking awesome, that feeling catches me and i play for hours after hours till it gets dark or i starve... I swear I could kill for one of those!
i have a BÖSENDORFER MOZART LIMITED EDITION.I ordered it for a long time and for a few weeks it arrived. Its not that bad but i want to have the Kuhn Bösendorfer.I will try to buy it.
Back in 1987 I got the chance to play a 97 key Bosendorfer in Philadelphia. I was a 19 year old kid. I played Clair de Lune, Moonlight Sonata and Fur Elise. The salesmen didn't bother me I obviously knew what I was doing. It was autographed by Leonard Bernstein. The feel and richness of tone were exquisite!! Even though those pieces didn't require the extra octave, the sheer size of the piano afforded by those keys made for a perfect soumd that I will never forget as long as I live.
WOW!!! AMAZING PIANO!!!!! but a horrible performance of fur elise, sorry.. its just, how should i put this, not how Beethoven would play it. theres like no emotion, or even pedaling, and theres some un-needed extra notes in there that doesn't make it sound any better. but anyways, THAT IS A PIANO TO DIE FOR AND YOU, OR WHOEVER THAT WAS IS LUCKY AS HELL TO HAVE PLAYED ON IT!!!!
Im here to play the Piano -.- not to look at some shiny diamonds o_O
