ebay has totally deteriorated---heavy scammers, both sellers and buyers. ebay is not really an auction--recission of an auction should only be allowed to occur if the item not as shown--not for ebay/paypal to provide a buyer trial period. completely fraudulent auctions are rife, counterfeit merchandise, or no merchandise at all--but ebay allows them to continue , despite numerous complaints against a fraudulent seller, just see how long it takes ebay to resolve problems when you get stung
I bought teeth on eBay. ( It was for a school project ) The only problem? I had to keep betting against someone who for like 3 years only bought teeth. Think dozens of transactions all involving teeth
@masmantour When it comes to bidding, don't bid until the last 30 seconds as thats when the real bidding starts and more than likely you will win the majority of the auctions for as low as possible because you won't be in a bidding war. To know when to bid, just calculate the time the auction ends and make a note of it under the auction and bid on the last 30 seconds.

I stopped using E-bay after getting scammed a couple of times. Their complaint resolution process was a joke, nothing got resolved satisfactorily.
