i think gears 3 definatly deserved it because they makeit so you can take hostages stick grenades to walls kick a hostage towards the enemies who has a grenade stuck to them as well, to me its the most original multiplayer, and if someone backs out they get replaced by an A.I. that actually can get some kills!
@101Habbopranks the problem on battlefield you need to wait to be re spawn again while on modern warfare you will re spawn right away. i hate waiting and i need to get into action and that's more fun that waiting you know. just my opinion we all have different taste when it comes to games.

Gears of War 3 is the most balanced multiplayer game that came out this year.
Maps are perfect, weapons are perfectly balanced, practically no lag whatsoever, good online community, horde mode has been greatly improved, sweet executions.
Oh and probably the best part IMO, it actually takes skill, not luck or just a strong gun.
So glad that Gears of War 3 got the recognition it deserves, it is such a fantastic overall game. What a complete package of a game, I would argue it was the most complete package of any game this year with all the different modes and replayability.

I was hoping for either GoW 3 or Mortal Kombat..
Never played any Uncharted games, and MW3 and BF3 didnt really...change that from their past games compared to GoW3 and MK.
So yeah glad GoW3 got it, well deserved!

Gears of War 3 is the most balanced multiplayer game that came out this year.
Maps are perfect, weapons are perfectly balanced, practically no lag whatsoever, good online community, horde mode has been greatly improved, sweet executions.
Oh and probably the best part IMO, it actually takes skill, not luck or just a strong gun.

So glad that Gears of War 3 got the recognition it deserves, it is such a fantastic overall game. What a complete package of a game, I would argue it was the most complete package of any game this year with all the different modes and replayability.

Because of course Xbox360 players love a Xbox360 exclusive game. But I'm not knocking the game either. It looks great, but in my opinion it wasn't as large scale and great as BF3 from what I've heard. But that's because I've heard the opinion of BF3 on all 3 platforms!

I'm just glad Modern Warfare 3 didn't win. (I'm not saying I hate the game I respect the franchise and what they do) Honestly I've played the game. It's basically the same thing except for spec ops but that doesn't really applied that much. And people stop making fun of other shooter games you're not accomplishing anything.
