  • dont find it funny at all...

  • this dog is a little too big

  • Mark > Kevin

  • Ummm... did i blink and miss the funny bit?

  • This is awesome.. lol

  • I can't say this enough. Kevin Eldon - Genius!

  • I LOVE THE LAST SCENE WHEN THE DOG RUNS SOOOO HILARIOUS :'D

  • if you notice he says, how are things at the post office, and that's the same actor in the postman's revenge skit

  • @TheUncleJ good point. lol

  • this is so funny, dunno why !

  • xD love the ending

  • friends was awful, office was equal or better then british original and wliia was better by far considering the best wliia comedians were in fact american/canadian

  • Some day, people will keep furries as pets.

  • Kevin Eldon captures the character of panic perfectly aha

  • I'm not british and I don't live in britain. I do not know anyone who is british and I do not plan to go to britain. But, British comedy rules all!!

  • Can you guys shut up about where this is based? It doesn't matter, it's funny, and Friends is awesome by the way, BUT! So is the IT Crowd, so as long as it's funny! God, you're all children!

  • The UK and US both have their share of shit comedies (which this is most certainly NOT), it's just that the US ones become successful (The existence of Carlos Mencia, Dane Cook, Seth McFarlane and Will Ferrell is a constant reminder of the general inferiority of American comedy). It's the US' compulsive desire to remake good shows that gets me- their version of The Office is terrible, and they had plans to do The IT crowd and Spaced!

  • haha the car bit is hilarious

  • this is a very funny sketch - not seeing "Rooney" is the gag and Eldon's facial expressions fab. How prescient that the dog is called Rooney

  • Its good how you never get a proper look at the dog

  • Should have used a horse...

  • people need to stop saying americans have no sense of humour. remember friends? that was hilarious and american. i mean i am british, but no need to hate on americans.

  • @xPandaxBearx

    Friends is shite. Just sayin'.

  • @xPandaxBearx Friends was very British humor.

  • @vanutra No, it really wasn't. It was a good show but it wasn't at all British humor.

  • @scottishthunder47 It's VERY British humour.... why do you think that we done a British version of it that was a more adult called "Coupling"? I say adult, it was on later in the evening so was a bit more rude and had more swear words.... Ahh I love how clever Friends is with working around the fact they can't say certain things and still make it work.

  • i hope i hav the sence of the joke!!

  • That's scary.lol

  • XD My friend had the same dog XD

  • This is brilliant. Dog's can be intimidating, but of course it's the owners that make it worse. Parodied brilliantly

  • I love the doggie nose prints on his car window at the end. It's little details like that that make this so much funnier!

  • I couldn't agree more, that was beyond brilliant.

  • It took me an age to realise that the guy in the checked shirt is the same actor who plays dr alan statham on green wing and brian ( the antisocial "artist" on spaced.

You'd never guess it was the same guy, based on appearance.

I love Big train, wish they could bring it back, if it were not for the fact that most of the cast either work for channel four now or have just vanished.

  • HES GOT A FURRY

  • this is hilarious especially if you look at it like the guys on mushrooms or acid lol.

  • or if you just watch it as if he is a normal guy not under the influence of any narcotic, like the way it was written.

  • Sorry dude, I 4got u had the script, duh silly me lol.

  • people should be made to watch big train sketches on a daily basis

    too funny

  • now that's a bit harsh I think the Americans do have some good comedians (My favourite being Mitch Hedburg) but I do agree that the British stuff is largely better. But that's probably because I am british.

  • @barretsbumhole Nothing in Britland

  • @barretsbumhole Have you seen SNL? It's American, and they have tons of skits like these which are hilarious.

  • I find it funny!

  • This sketch is fecking hilarious, especially when the dog is running at them.

  • ha ha the look on the guys face when doggie starts running next to the car ha ha ...classic funny !!

  • lol now that is big nose day comadie

  • I want that costume :D

  • the funny part is the expression on guy's face

  • and you could write a comedy programme worthy of the bbc I suppose

  • its funny

  • oh sorry,

i suppose they should have had the dog slipping on a banana skin at the end, all you yanks find that HILARIOUS!

  • come on man..im not english or american but that shit will never b funny

  • They don't even need to go that far, just make some fart jokes, flash some tits and it's a riot!

  • yeah, this sketch wasn't funny but, overall big train is genius, and America's only had a tiny amount of decent comedians (all overlooked) whereas we've got masterminds managing our comedy

  • all our comedians are in Washington DC.

  • lol nice one :D

  • I hate how people are always hating on American comedians. Arrested Development was probably the funniest TV show of all time, and that was American, wasn't it? American comedy isn't the wasteland you Brits claim it is

  • arrested development rocks, unfortunately its pretty unheard of over here and was never promoted so we still immediately think of crappy sitcoms like friends and spivs like drew carey. maybe one day.......

  • we can only dream...

  • Meh, I wouldnt say arrested development was the BEST. COMEDY. EVAR. But I will admit it's pretty damn hilarious.

I think the main reason that most none Americans assume America is devoid of humor is because in the UK we get the privilege (ugh) of watching shows like friends and joey.

There's decent comedy world wide, nation has nothing to do with it. (as far as the west is concerned.)

  • @andomamern it's not just the comedy.. but Americans in general. Chalk it up to lack of exposure to American culture, not to mention that American culture and comedy is different than British - always has been, always will be. There are some brilliant American comics, but we bend more towards the stand up than television shows to highlight our humor. The UK does not.. they are skit focused. Big difference, and impossible to compare.

  • This is all wrong. American influences have been creeping into British comedy since Phil Silvers. And saying that American Comedy is stand up based and British is skit based is mentally ill. Remember, the shows you watch are not all the shows that exist. There are many great American comedies, maybe more than our British shows. The biggest difference is probably our (British) lenience toward alternative comedy but it can only ever be a matter of opinion, never fact.

  • George Carlin was one of them. RIP George.

  • the creepy dog monster is looking at me funny

  • What would you consider to be funny? Friends? lol

  • luv it!

  • lol good one :)
