The original LP did not say "Featuring Kim Mitchell"...same goes for all Max Webster's albums. This is probably a CD scan or later reissue of the vinyl LP.
After Kim's semi fame as a solo artist in the 80's/90's, Anthem felt it was good idea to plop Kim's name on the front covers of all Max's reissues.
This also happened with The Amboy Dukes, a late 60s/early 70s band that featured Ted Nugent prior to his fame during the mid 70's onward...."The Amboy Dukes - Featuring Ted Nugent".
One Helluva great song that followed 'check' on the album. Back in the day (1980 &1981) Max Webster opened for Rush and both years when I seen the shows in Detroit, the dates were in late March. More than likely one of the next tour stops was in Toledo and the song was written on the road in the month of April? Just a guess but I may be talking to myself, talking to myself.
It is awesome - i had it as a b side to battle scar (better song really) the guitar sound is sort of understated - less is more really - the solo is just one note sort of distorted, great singer as well. Not heard this for 25 years - its timeless!
This Song is great, The entire album is a masterpiece. I remember seeing Max Webster open for Rush two tours in a row, the second time I seen them was during Rush's moving pictures tour and the Websters gave Rush a run for their Money!
