This is a poor chipping technique in my opinion. It is very hard to get the required acceleration with absolutely no wrist hinge on such a small swing. It makes chipping off less than perfect lies so difficult.

The difficulty 99.9% of golfers have with chipping has nothing to do with not having perfect lies.
You can give them a great lie, and it'll still be difficult to chip within 10' of the pin. And it's also quite easy to get acceleration without adding additional hinging.
Our goal was to provide a simple and repeatable move with the least # of moving parts.
I agree it's not for everyone, but it does work and is used.
