He was a modernist. He ruined the church. No time has seen such abuses in the Mass since the New Mass came out. Just because most priests, bishops etc couldnt speak latin properly, or they couldn't be asked to speak it, he turned his back on 2000 years of history just because he wanted it in English!!! Paul VI wanted to use the pill and his church was plural...he was so modern, cultured, sensitive, refined...very much misunderstood..he had too much pressure and he was not allowed to act as he wanted due to the most conservative wing of Church...the church has gone backwards with John Paul II and Ratzinger unfortunately
