why'd you cut it down? i've got one at least that big...i'm going to measure the trunk, but it is giant...more than 75ft...close to 90. I had a 55' working height bucket and it was nowhere near high enough to trim everything i needed to trim.

looked like it was already dead to me, you have to remember that to the land owner a tree is a crop with a financial value, they harvest the crop & plenty of land owners pland to replace, sometimes taking4 or 6 trees out then replanting with several dozen.

the reason i know this is i take down trees as well as plant trees & hedges, i also manage hedgerows & even though iv had people going nuts at me for felling a tree i will do more for the enviroment than most dedicated enviromentalists
