  • what the heck is algorithm ???

  • AS ALL bad guys says: " we must destroy this, to make something better". and the world gets destructet...

  • The thing with this cube is, if you don't mess up something, you aren't doing it right.

  • Using your guide to help me solve my 7x7x7. This video has helped me greatly! Thank you!

  • so what do you do when you have one center missing on opposite sides?

  • best time on this cube is now 4' 49". Luckily I didn't have to watch this tutorial. I only clicked because I thought you had a more advanced solve method for the centers. I've already adopted the edge slicing method. I didn't wait until I got down to five minitedso n an average solve, I just got used to using it. Now five minutes is usually the average solve.

  • He sounds like Ham from toy story! hahahaha

  • what happened to your voice

  • quiet understandable...still having issues with the last 2 centers because i keep having strange patterns but the rest is quiet helpfull thanks!

  • your going way to fast. JAYZUS!!!!!!

  • I don't fucking get it! >:(

  • ====IS THERE NO ADVANCE FOR SOLVING THE CENTER???CAN YOU GIVE ME A TIP OF HOW I WILL BE MORE FASTER FOR SOLVING THE CENTER OF 5X5X5 RUBIKS CUBE???

  • ur voice changed...

  • i'm just wondering if you could solve the centers like a 3x3x3 by looking at the orientation of the centers. Then you can start edge pairing etc...

  • last 2 centers at 5:36

(thumbs up to keep other people from waiting...)

  • I always found the fourth center to be the hardest. The last two aren't hard. An easy way to do it is focus on just solving one of the last ceters and use the last two sides as your free space. Keep aware of the other completed centers, so move properly. But you just have to worry about one of the last ceters Because the last two will ALWAYS solve at the same time.

  • @maritaria THANKS thats all i needed

  • you know, you can see his cube is not a V-cube because a V-cube is much more stable when you twist; his cube almost falls appart at 2:22 (look at lower-left-outer-corner)

  • his voice................

  • Woooow his voice really changed when he got into the vidoe. Like a whole different person

  • You are way better than any teacher Rob you explain clearly and let your students understand wat you are saying

  • what the deal with that weird looking cube back there

  • y did ur voice change

  • what if you have 2 edge peices in the in there wrong spots?

  • it is almost exactly like the 4 by 4 just more pieces

  • i honestly think anyone who can solve a 3 by 3 doesnt need to know how to solvea 4 by 4 before attempting this, i only average about 35 seconds on the 3 by and managed to pick up a 5 by 5 and intuitively solve all of the 6 centres, i just couldnt do the edge pairing without a tut.

  • Thx rob, i had so much help from u, with this lesson on the 5x5 and i finally learned how to finish the 3x3 from u too!!! lol :D

  • @SidehackIsLife Real cubers have at LEAST 2 spares...

  • @ensampojken don't mock me and my broke-ness (i only have 2 rubik's cubes)

  • Like this if you think the word "Okay" is overused

  • @SuperTekWorld54 Okay.

  • 24 people cant finish the centres

  • damn! you are awesome! how long have you done this?

  • i just solved them by myself, briefly listening to what he's saying.

no offence, but your voice is really annying.

  • kermit is teaching us how to solve a 5x5 rubix cube!!!!

  • This hurts my brain im gonna stick eith 3x3s

  • how do u tighten up ur cube?

  • YAY I DID IT AGAIN thanx for repeating the moves fast that really helped and others dont do that

  • This will be very helpful thanks :)

  • You're REALLLLLLLY over explaining this.

  • @Lazarscout not REALLLLLLLY, some ppl just don't catch on as fast as u do

  • is there some reason you cant solve the centers like they were a regular 3X3 ?

  • @Anon1352

if i'm not mistaken, it would mess up your finished "center 3x3's" when filling in the "3x3 corners" hope you understood what i'm trying to say

  • @nevermind90 i got what your saying 5 min after i posted it i realized it was kind of a dumb question haha

  • is that an algorithm in 9;30 ???

  • hey rob im dh. i think youre so awesome you helped me to solve all the centers youre amazing but do you have a tutorial for 6 by 6 by 6 v cube?

  • the best place to buy a 5x5 is at Ebay or Amazon.com

  • there is an easyer way to solve it. i think what your doing is hurting my brain

  • donde puedo conseguir el rubick cube 5x5x5

where can i get my 5x5x5 rubick cube..???

    espero respuesta

    i'll wait for an answer

  • @paquiaoextacis well, better buy in lightake.com :) search said cube.. they will have 5x5 :)

  • @paquiaoextacis I got mine out of a catalog for puzzle toys...

  • your tutorial is really good. Its really hard to find someone who explains this stuff really good rather than just repeat algorythms

  • thank you very much :)

  • he is the god of rubiks cubes

  • The letter of the day is R!

The number of the day is, 1, 2, and 3!!!

  • and the word of the day is Rubik haha

he sounds like bert from sesame street

  • Thank you! i only heard 3 minutes of it but i got it! ive been stuck on this step forever

  • im doing this while drinking tea yay and yes i am up to this step

  • please help me i have a two 1x3s on the last 2 sides that arent switched correctly... like the green has a 2x6 green bar and a 1x3 orange bar and i cant fix it

  • dude get the the point and stop going so slow. and dont reverse what you do then do it again thats what rewind if for. im having a hard time understanding just because of how slow you r going plus for people that arnt patient it just pisses them off

  • I was waiting for you to move a piece, without skipped

  • 10:40

  • what the i so do not get that wat r u talking bout

  • THANK YOU!!!!

  • thanks sooooooooooooo much, i m gonna so this for my skl talent hunt, hope i win!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! btw i can do the 3by3 n now the 5by 5 but i dont know how to do a 4by4 is taht hard?????????

  • @me4u247 if u can do a 3x3 u can do u can do 4x4 there very similar only difference is you have to make ur centre piece and then pair up all the edge pieces and then solve it the same way you would solve a 3x3

  • @Bruce5747 thanks, i got my 4by4 last week, n yaa i did it without actually watckhing the video, except for the annoying paroty cases! :P

  • your good at explaining things

  • yey, thx man

  • im sorry but you sound alot like fozzy bear from the muppets.......WAKA WAKA

    great tutorials though thanks

  • cudnt u just solve the centers together like a 3x3?

  • @tuna2223 Doesn't work like that cos you can mess up the edge pieces, you could have an "edge piece" of blue and green if you try to think of centres like a 3x3.

  • @Mp5Drummer I c watcha meen

  • Put down the duckie so you can play the saxophone lmao

  • @tdivv41 I KNOW RIGHT

  • hey ı cant understand the qualıty of this video is vry bad ı cant see the cube why?

  • Cool dude thx. This was one part of solvin it that always annoyed me

  • How do you solve the last 2 centers if they are across from each other

  • ur a stupid xD your life its the rubicks jajaj

  • @toysnflowers Lol? "UR* A* STUPID*" "youR* Life ITS* the RUBICKS*

Well You're dumber than RobH.. You just wrote the whole first sentence wrong and the other one wrong.. Did you get your brain by mail?

  • but where do you get a 5x5 is it only on the Internet? because i can't find one in the store

  • his voice kind of makes me mad. But good video nonetheless.

  • great tut

  • This awesme bro! i can do it off by heart!

  • lol froggy seasme street

  • This dude has a lot of cubes.

  • What about if, with the last two sides, you have three corner center pieces on each of the last two sides that need to be reversed?

  • He reminds me of Cleveland from Family Guy(:

  • Yeah, he sounds like Cleveland.

  • i made it!!!

  • you have a green laptop???

    thats cool^^

  • You sound like Burt from sesame street, especially at 2:38.

  • @arkatoz he actually sounds like cleveland except clevelands voice is more strong

  • hey when you solve the parity errors it was easy to uderstand it it was awsome

  • Hey your vidios are the best i got my 5x5 for christmas and now i can solve it in just 10 mins.

  • @MrJamlove I just got it and solved up to the parity errors in about 5 minutes (without any research). It is a lot faster to solve one side at a time.

  • i can do it but it take an hour

  • ha ha ha hey just work on it fi have been working on mine for ever and dont worry about messing it up you know what to do and you will not just practice i can solve it in 10 mins and dont know how to solve the 4x4

  • your voice changes at 1:17

  • 5x5 really is easier than the 4x4.. but it sure takes more time to complete...

  • they're acctually about the same, a 4x4 just has more parity options

  • I like not having algorithms

  • I found this is easier than the 4x4x4 rubik's cube. The hardest part for me in the 5x5x5 is solving the center..The parity cases are easy in the 5x5x5..=D (that' just me)

  • you're right this cube is easier than the 444 because the 444 has parity at the end and possibly another parity combined.

  • @billyandika3158 i know and when u complete one of the parity errors either u will have to put some things in the right position or u will have to line up and finish the blue cross

  • hey check out memyselfandpies vidio it will help with the center just keep working

  • lol he starts sounding like kermit the frog in this video

  • @insertnamehereKJK I was thinking Bert (of Bert and Ernie) ^_^

  • @insertnamehereKJK

I can't take him seriously if he's talking like this. lol :D

  • @insertnamehereKJK

I think its sped up slightly??

  • Great video :) Really helped me a lot, thanks so much.

  • HELP! I got stuck, because when you have the 2x2 on the green side, i dont have a 2x2 on any side! if i try and get one, i always mess up either the yellow side, the white, or the orange. HELP! I can make it so only one gets messed up, but then how do I fix it???? EEK!!! Im stuck...

  • worked too now the next part^^

  • at about 1:17 your voice changes and sounds really wierd

  • i like chinese food

  • @dudedaniel me, too (:

  • your voice suddenly sounds like kermit the frog :)

  • haha it does! lol

  • This guy's voice got boring after a while. no offense

  • great vid with awesome detail

  • ok dude, heres my problem, i have 4 sides figured out, and the last 2 are OPPOSITE of each other, the blue and green sides, however, the only pieces that are out of place is a 1x3 on each side, i cant flip them without messing up other sides, HELLLLLPPPPP!!!

  • im having the same problem!!!

  • Im having the same exact problem.. HELP!!!

  • ok say the opposite sides that u have unsolved with the matching 3x1s are blue and green. what u have to do is make the green 3x1 that is paired with the blue center knock out another green 3x1 that is paired with the green center. Then rotate the side with the green center so that the blue 3x1 mathces up with the side that now has the green 3x1 then rotate the them to the correct orientation and your done :) hopefully i worded this well enough so that u can understand

  • i agree!

ur vid make me pro play cube n_n

  • This is like the Heise method for the 5x5; very logic based.

  • to hard

  • QJ cube is owesome!!!!!!!!!!

  • hehe... the outlet on your wall is a scared face...

  • Yeah... thanx... at part 1 i find it by myself to solve the center(left ,right)..but i don't know the next.. so thanks

  • You sound like Ernie, from Bert and Ernie. Otherwise, good tutorial.

  • thx man!

  • i dont even have a 5x5x5 yet. i could solve a 3x3 and a 4x4. im gonna learn how to solve a 5x5 before i even get one :)

  • you should get the v-cube 5

  • no the eastsheen 5x5 is the best 5x5 cube.

  • personal preference. Eastsheen is awesome but it pops a good amount of times when speed solving.

  • I'd say v-cube 5.

  • i can solve a 3x3, and not a 4x4. but i never had one. this might be hard working with the 5x5. i can get the centers and a few egdes.

  • great tutorial.....ran into a slight problem on those last 2 centers ...but i figured it out

  • nice tutorial

  • i like your tutorials better than pogobat. Good job. im subscribing and rating five stars! YOU ROCK!!!!! :)

  • at around 7:40 i wish you'd show how to do it the other way cuz i didnt get what you got and i'm confused now

  • ur just too smart, i cant even solve a 3x3 one!

  • at 7:15 my solve is only 7 moves, thus tons easier

inside right up, top left, middle up, top right, inside right down, top left, middle down

    yw

  • 7:53 that is :-)

  • i seen the first step i can already solve to the last step, am i brilliant?

  • Sorta. It's all intuitive. And extremely similar to the 4x4x4

  • no...

  • beast video

  • haha man im trying to do this stonned, and did ur voice change? u sound like gonzo from the muppets! haha jokes!

  • the video very slow,i cannot focus on it...

  • this vid rule man.

i think i am ready now for the 5x5x5

but what happend with your voice at 1:20?? lol you voice become hihger lol

  • Great video. Once again, you've figured out how to explain difficult concepts without having to use an algorithm. Great job!

  • thanks thanks very much

  • omg, is the cube on the left of the two cubes on the bottom right a 6x6x4?!?!?!?

  • right after 1:15 he sounds like he has snot stuffed in his nose

  • blahaha

  • lol all those cubes on the right

  • Ah is voice changed again after 5:40!!

  • good tut.

why did his voice drastically change right after 1:15?

  • note to self. im up to 04:46

  • in case anyone was wondering the last 2 centers are at 5:43

  • @computerdl thanks

  • @computerdl Thank you very much xD

  • dude what happened to your voice?

  • I DONT WANNA FIND MY OWN WAY D:

  • I know the 3x3x3 beginner, using keyhole in avg of 5 ~60secs and 4x4x4 not sure of time, but I'm good at them. I could solve the 5x5x5 cube after this 3rd part of your tut!

    Thanks lots!

  • hey dude its a good tutorial but on the last two centers i never get a pattern that you explain . HELP!

  • do the alg that he does till you need something similar..thats what i did.. =D

  • nice work i like how you explain it through logic instead of just algs. really helps develop an understanding of where the algs come from

  • his voice changes.

  • I think he's better than Dan Brown ^^.

  • " (ditto)

  • dan brown doesn't have a 5x5x5 tutorial . but in his 4x4x4 , during the edge piecing , he teaches you that you can turn this and tht happens , etc etc . So , better learning .

  • I love the way he says 'algorithms'

  • Is it the same pattern to solve when you have different color on the oposite side?for example if you have white and blue as the oposite side of cube. The regulure cube has white and yellow as the oposite side.

  • u rok
