i own on Yamaha GL-1~just a beginner of this, i was trying to tune it to standard tune in guitar EADGBe , but it sound sooooo weird : (((( i can't play a good chord with this tuning... is there anything I can do with this? oh is Guitalele can only tune in its own specific tuning? not fit with standard tuning? please advice~ thank you so much~ and you really play good in the video :))
@trombone0803l the normal tuning for the guitalele is ADGCEa, but you can also tune it like a normal guitar, it is gonna sound a little weird in the beginning. you just have to tune it a lot (like in five minutes) and finally it'll play fine after that and then it'll be okay to play on.
but I recommend to tune it in the guitalele tuning, it plays and sounds a lot better.
@MrMikey1021 these things are great, I actually bought it when i was going on holiday.
the strings are just normal traditional guitar strings. They're very well made and are really nice to play on, if I were you I would buy one, it's really worth your money.
I will do some more video's of these soon, this was just a little experiment so stay tuned!!
