just going to say, if no one has posted it already (and sorry for repeating it if i have and sorry if my information is incorrect), i heard that Vic did actually sing the full version. At the end of the last episode during the carriage chase to the bridge, the song continues from the start of the second verse in English (dubbed version of series) but they have not released the full version. As I said, that's what i've heard, just thought i'd pass it on :)

Just got to pick up the language, takes a lot of time but it starts to come.

At first, I could only spot out certain words from entire episodes or movies, after a few monthes (like 7) I could start to pick out phrases and how the sentences were constructed to have different meanings. And now after god knows how long, I can for the most part understand what they're saying in animes. Though this is like 'anime speek', which lacks any complex dialogue to make it enjoyable instead of meaningful.
