Thanks for your post. I was able to locate her website. I wanted to see a video of her performing this since the 1970s. I was delighted when my mother found the video. Give my best to her. I only wish her remake would have been this classic version. It would have had the same power and longevity. Don't fix what isn't broken.

For the record. The little girl is Regina McCrary. She recorded that song "I made a vow" when she was eight years old. Yes, she was in a Tyler Perry play. She played the character of Mr. Brown's wife Mattie whom was a little "slow" in Medea's Family Reunion.
