hughs certainly got his money 's worth with this number, but I still haven't seen a beautifull remastered and proper color version of the show. Each year it seems to get better than the old one that I first saw, but still it needs work.
Amazing! I too saw this film and a different version of this number recently, and TCM's Robert Osborne said this version with close-ups had been lost. Thanks!
This is the UNCENSORED version of "Lookin' For Trouble" featuring those closeups of Jane Russell's breasts and that crazy monologue supposedly written by Howard Hughes himself! Hopefully the complete version of this film will be on DVD soon via the Warner Archive!

I can certainly see how eyebrows were raised at the Hayes office. Jane Russell looks naked in that dress, the way only certain women can.
Oh, and inner schoolmarm says, check that definition on "censorious."

RIP Jane Russell. And all honor to Howard Hawks, who did not direct this film (it was Lloyd Bacon).

DAMN!....Jane Russell is THE definition of, "SMOKIN' HOT WOMAN!"....you can even see the smoke at 4:12....lol!

I've seen other clips on ytube. The main differences are from around 2:12 on this clip onwards, right after she sings "trouble looks like a man".
They might be not so risque as they were originally thought to be, but they are still quite, ummm, visually appealing.

WHERE DID YOU FIND THIS?
It was broadcast on TCM a few days ago and this ending was mentioned, but the host said it had been lost.
