It's incredible! The accelerating is fast. You don't need 500HP to go fast. But it's the ratio of how much hp it has with it's weight. Imagine a 1000kg car having 215HP!

You never actually been in one of these lunch boxes? the john cooper works is faster than the 335, big audis, many huge billion horse power american highway missiles! It's like a road going go kart : AMAZING! cornering is incredible and acceleration is unbelievable! But I agree, it's ridiculous to make a club and get beaten by girlscouts!
What do they run the 1/4 mile and 0-100-0? 2008 hoursepower and top speed of 148? Slower than my Sky Redline, worse gas mileage, costs more and still looks like something a gay man drives.....wait they do drive them. To each his own I guess.
First of all, The JCW runs 0-100 in under 4,5 sec... Pretty good when you think many BMW or Mercs, even Maseratis are slower than that (I'm thinking of the M3 and 4,9 sec from 0-100) Then 150... I wouldn't called this slow when you can keep the speed in any corners and cruise in back country roads at more than 120. Not the typical mustangish precision. And of course it may not be the fastest in a straight line, but it corners like hell! road going go kart it is!

Yeah the guy at the Mini dealership laughed at me when I called over there asking about this. Said he had not heard that one yet and asked if I was trying Ferrari of Washington which was next door.
your sky redline is driven by gay people going through midlife crises and that are to small to fit in something bigger and can't afford a lotus elise. and you most certainly don't have better fuel mileage and around a track the mini will destroy you.
Well no one wants to hear about your boyfriends issues and just because he has one does not make all owners gay. Stop it...your lack of facts is making you look rather immature. I'm 6'3" and would have gotten a Vette but couldnt afford it (I can fit). An Elise? (Maximum Torque: 133 lb ft @6800 rpm)
....Sorry no Toyota engine for me and I prefer my 340 ft/lbs of torque. I do have better mileage than an S and at 76 mph better mileage than a standard mini. What else can I straighten you out on?
Again, it's won in both SCCA classes years running. I would like to see how well you can drive yours as I have never run against one yet. What tracks you running next year? You sanctioned?

i was talking about autocross, not strung out track, obviously its faster around the track there is more straights and more sweeping curves, you can hit higher speeds with it around the bends.
i just like the music and you getting flat spots thats the only resond im still watchin lol

yeah but your 340lb ft of torque will get lapped by elises/exiges all day. torque and power isn't everything.

No it wont destoy my car. SCCA won't even let you enter the mini in the same class. It would be a lap traffic hazzard.
