This makes me wonder if the artist has ever even owned a dog. I wonder this because - as a dog owner who inevitably runs into dogs and meets their owners every day as part of my dog's socialization - I have never met a person who uses their dog as an accessory. Just because a dog is accessorized does not mean it is an accessory. I feel as if the artist is meeting a problem in society that doesn't really exist. Noone who owns a dog can help but think of them as individual and distinct,

Great to see all these different ways in which you deal with animal rights. I've been watching all your videos and I think you're a great artist (although you don't actually 'paint on canvas like artists are supposed to do... ;-)).

Oh, but I do know what is going on in real life. Which is likely why I don't buy leather products or eat meat. Although I realise that the animal world is still affected by everything I 'consume' (in terms of land required to grow crops and pollution and whatnot), I still think that these works are a waste of precious life and disrespectful to the animal. I'll grant you that there are worse things happening to animals, but I fail to see how this helps getting rid of those cases of abuse.
