  • this version with just pete and the acoustic was on "hq sessions second wave" and i am sure it was recorded well after the early days, but the original demo version off of the "early odessa sessions" has mostly carl singing it and with more musical company. (;

  • What demo was this on?

  • gulasch??

  • 0 dislikes!! :D

  • If you've lost your faith in love and music

Oh the end won't be long

Because if it's gone for you then I too may lose it

    And that would be wrong

  • @deathbythestairs

    The Good Old Days!

  • this was amazing at kentish town forum

  • the taste of gulyás in your mouth : D yeah, hungarian dishes ftw : D

  • @Czeppelin he's talking about vomit

  • this must be one of my favorite songs with Pete. Just the acustic guitar with his voice is pure gold.

  • love, liebe, amor. <3

  • One of the most underrated songs by The Libertines/Pete Doherty.

  • I love this song so much, it's so harmonic! I wonder if the lines

    "Shove me up the wall

Oh my darling oh Poor Cow" have something to do with one of Pete's favorite movies called Poor Cow. That's one of those things I love so much about The Libs: Sometimes you can imagine what or whom they were thinking of while writing their songs... It brings them closer to me. But their music will be untouchable forever´...

  • cut me on the wall, i

  • ahh this is an old one, a rare gem. Love it!

  • Love the lyrics of this song.

    Hooray for the Libs ^-^
