Does anyone know what happened with Kimmie's 2004 Junior Worlds programs on Youtube? or her 2006 Nationals exhibition or her 2006 Marshalls Keep Holding On or her 2007 Skate America programs? They are not on Youtube anymore and neither is her 2007 Worlds ex. Thanks!

my role model is diane smitez, and joannanie rochette, cause i'm canadian, but i still like Kimmie Meissener (: shes another good role model, but its true, sometimes Emily does do better then Kimmie or its the other way around;

Ok I think its a bit unfair to compare Kimmie and Emily. They both are good skaters, Kimmie is my role model, but thast doesnt mean I dont like Emily. Sometimes Kimmie does better, other times Emily does.

I agree. I think what we see in Emily Hughes is what normal/healthy looks like but we're so used to seeing women pressured to be very thin that normal appears heavy. Of course some women, like Sasha Cohen, are naturally very thin and there's nothing unhealthy about that. I think it must be stressful to have one's physical appearance in the spotlight with so many people watching. (In addition to the pressure of the skating itself!)

her jumps were sometimes too low...and the ending position is just simply ugly, but her footwork was ok, and the program overal was quite good.

Emily is far from heavy---she's very solid and muscular and has more of a woman's body than other skaters. She's not your straight up and down shaped skater.

im surprised that yall can b just like food critics about how theyre built when wut matters is that they hav the ability to skate well and even just make it to nationals

plus the judges take care of the scores and placings they no a whole lot bout this and scoring plus dont bash one or the other good skaters dont do that to each other

Why would you say Emily could never become national champion? In my mind, the gold for the 2007 Nationals went to Emily and Alissa won the silver, and Kimmie won the bronze. Why? Because Emily skated soooo much better than Kimmie- someone who landed two "triple-triples" which were cheated by more than a quarter rotation and were ratified.

She deserved silver or even bronze after a mediocre long, in comparison to Alissa or Emily. Those triple-triples were unfairly upgraded. Very unfair to Emily.
