I have a feeling that if I tried to do this at home myself, I wouldn't get the same results. I've been told to never try and reshape my own lips and that only a professional should do it, because a lot of things could go wrong.
I think makeup should not be used for a coverup but as an enhancer. therefore, theres no makeup trick that can take the size of your lips away.Love them, people pay lots of money for them. Dont use lip liner because lip liner makes already big lips look larger if you really want to minimize the size.

we want the full look but make it more proportionate to the rest of her features; hence, the minimizing techniques. with full lips there's the danger of just seeing the lips and not the whole beautiful face if the lips are poorly done. here, the lips are done excellently.

My impression of this video is that it provides a technique for maximizing a full look without overkill. There's no language that suggests that full lips are to be hid. The video is not misleading. if you are trying minimalize something, you are effectively hiding it for it is not shown in its full glory. The only reason someone would want to hide something is because they find it unnacttractive or unsavory. how are her full lips overkill? that sounds contradictory to what you've been saying.
if you have full lips course its beutiful but if you put lipstick on or lipliner n then they become too attractive, you won't be able to for example put an attractive eye colour of your choice because then if your lips are excelently done but full, and so are your eyes they might clash, thats why they say if you want ur eyes to be the feature that stand out make ur lips simple and if you want ur lips to stand out, make ur eyes simple..

What she's doing is enhancing the shadow. When you fill in only 3/4 of the lip, the fullest parts are lighter making them look even fuller.

actually yes, there are a lot of surgerys, not all of them are bigger lips or stuff like that, the can also be midle like eliminating spots on your skin and so on

like some people have said before me it looks great from afar but upclose it looks a bit akward and cakey. She tried to shrink the lips by putting the lip liner alot lower than her lip line, and it probably is very obvious up close XD but maybe im too partial to a very natural lip hehehe

OMG, I cannot believe I found something like this!! Thank you LORD! I am bi-racial and I do have VERY full lips. I am so sick of people saying to be "thankful" because full lips are what everyone wants..blah-blah-blah. I understand that, but for me, full lips arent always great EVERY single day. Sometimes I want a more natural look,or I want to play up my eyes, not my lips, but even when I wear clear gloss, my lips are saying hello before I do!!! LOL Thank you for sharing this!!

My lips are huge. Some women think it's a blessing but I have to disagree. So I was pleased to find that there are ways to make them look a tad smaller. I really don't like my mouth looking like I just walked out of a fight, lol.

People with big lips did not call me names. It was "small-lipped" people who looked at me like I was a monster. They also went on to say racist things ( i go to a white school basically). I've had cousins, uncles, adults, you name it, be rude to me. I've dealt with it since kindergarten and I STILL do now as a junior. I remember walking through the hallway hearing someone say "she's got huge lips". Seriously stfu before I start getting angry.

I am a large woman with no self confidence and it does cause people to stear away if you are unsure of yourself. I have seen other large women who are not at all ill at ease with their body's and in fact can turn the heads of men. Why did they make her skin so much lighter? The original color of her skin was beautiful and her lips were very pretty originally. All I think she needed was some eyeliner, darker foundation, and some lipstick.

I have a feeling that if I tried to do this at home myself, I wouldn't get the same results. I've been told to never try and reshape my own lips and that only a professional should do it, because a lot of things could go wrong.

I think makeup should not be used for a coverup but as an enhancer. therefore, theres no makeup trick that can take the size of your lips away.Love them, people pay lots of money for them. Dont use lip liner because lip liner makes already big lips look larger if you really want to minimize the size.

the liner is placed slightly inside of the natural lip border to minimize the fullness
we want the full look but make it more proportionate to the rest of her features; hence, the minimizing techniques. with full lips there's the danger of just seeing the lips and not the whole beautiful face if the lips are poorly done. here, the lips are done excellently.

For some reason my response was not attached to the question I was answering. There's no judgement here as to whether full lips are gorgeous.
My impression of this video is that it provides a technique for maximizing a full look without overkill. There's no language that suggests that full lips are to be hid. The video is not misleading. It doesn't deliver any message other than an application technique. You're reading more into it than the content even suggests.

if you are trying minimalize something, you are effectively hiding it for it is not shown in its full glory. The only reason someone would want to hide something is because they find it unnacttractive or unsavory. how are her full lips overkill? that sounds contradictory to what you've been saying.

if you have full lips course its beutiful but if you put lipstick on or lipliner n then they become too attractive, you won't be able to for example put an attractive eye colour of your choice because then if your lips are excelently done but full, and so are your eyes they might clash, thats why they say if you want ur eyes to be the feature that stand out make ur lips simple and if you want ur lips to stand out, make ur eyes simple..
