@leobrat12 I'm not sure when your day was but I was in HS from '93 to '97 so perhaps it was before my time. Hip tosses were legal and used frequently. I've never heard of the one foot on the floor rule. When was that and was that just for certain tosses? Because a double leg, high crotch, foot sweep and fireman can all result in both feet off the floor pretty frequently.

@kenpojujitsu3 and I was '97-'00, and it was definitely a rule, even in headlocks, or lateral throws, every toss had to be more or less of a 'trip'. I was very small, even for 103, so kind of a 'ragdoll', if you will, and a LOT of people got called out for lifting me. And it was something my coach stressed a lot. But no big.

Ultramagnus08 is mistaken, throws are not illegal. The 2011 revision primarily addresses figure 4's to the head (now illegal), the boundry line being considered "inbounds", and penalties for multiple injury time outs". And of course the big thing is the modifications of weight classes nationally.

I'm a coach and I tell my wrestlers to use this kind of throw with care, because if he hits the mat before you do, and he hits it hard, the ref will call an illegal slam. If you watch the vid carefully, you can see that the guy really doesnt hit the mat all that hard... the pop comes when his feet hit the mat at the end.
