@Demmettreus Thanks, and yeah i have GP6 but i havn't found many tabs for this version at this time. And reading a GP5 tab on GP6 is not well converted because of the whole new sound bank system, so you get violon instead of piano for exemple.

Also, Kiko does a lot of improvisation in this song, but i would like this one especially cause my favorite one! :)

You mean of your right hand? No, watch Michael Angelo Batio, he uses something similar (I think he rests his 3rd finger there too). There's really only 2 rules: 1. It should feel comfortable to you (What Greg Howe says: Guitar playing should be easy) and 2. your technique should allow you to play whatever you want.

@XxBacon10xX From a very technical standpoint, yes, because "anchoring," as it's called, is just a naturally limiting technique, it causes unnecessary tension and you don't move your hand in the same way as if it were unanchored. However, as some guitarists have had a lot of success with this technique (Petrucci, Loureiro, etc.), it's not fair to say it's "bad" if it feels comfortable to you. Speaking purely technically, yes it's "bad," but if it feels comfortable to you, then go for it.

Kiko came to london in the guitar institute and he gave a 2 hour demonstration. I thought he was some kind of guitar monster because he is flawless.

Talking about techniques, he has a flawless alternate picking technique. when we were asking questions he was chatting and doing super fast alternate picking at the same time. He mentioned he cannot do sweep picking so he rarely uses those.
