Normally when it comes to movies I'm like - CRAP, I'm really not sure about this considering how many companies bollocks characters up. But Nolan has proven himself at Batman time and time again, and whatever he comes up with goes as far as I'm concerned. He doesn't pick rubbish actors. I didn't like the new Rachel admittedly, she didn't look anything like old Rachel and was cheap and annoying but then that was a once occurance so I'm not particularly worried. As long as Penguin is classic xx

DAMN, i was watching the oscars and the Lovely Bones clip they used to showcase Stanley's nomination for Best Supporting Actor scared the fckn hell out of me. it was so creepy. he could definitely play dark roles so i wouldn't be surprised to see him in a role like this. psh is great, too, though. idk, but stanley scared the shit out of me.

But I do think that Harley whatsherface--Jack Napier a.k.a. 'The Jokers' squeeze will be the next villain. Other possibilities include reintroducing ScareCrow and Two-Face. Maybe he's not dead. But that's unlikely.

i think Man-Bat (aka Dr. Kirk Langstrom) would be a good villain. He is borderline supernatural which would make him hard to defeat. hence, an interesting villain. plus, he has a very interesting backstory.
I'm still firmly in the Black Mask camp. For starters, his inclusion would bring with it more of Bruce Wayne's past, and also add a redemption angle into the premise. Plus, in the comics, Black Mask and his gang kidnap Lucius Fox which I think would help give Fox a far more meaty role in the film. Of course, by default, if you get Black Mask you have to get Catwoman...

But I do think that Harley whatsherface--Jack Napier a.k.a. 'The Jokers' squeeze will be the next villain. Other possibilities include reintroducing ScareCrow and Two-Face. Maybe he's not dead. But that's unlikely.

I heard that in keeping with the realistic stylings of the first two movies, penguin will be an rich man with birdlike features. He looses his mind after whatever he does somehow becomes endangered by batman and he hires the mob to kill batman. The riddler will be what he always was, a wayne scientist.

They're not, cause nolan says they're portraying a 'young' batman, so Robin is a no go. Also, in the comic, Robin and 2Face have no connection at all. That was just in Batman Forever.

...considering Jack Black OVER Philip Seymour Hoffman in ANY role, Penguin aside, is a fucking JOKE! Jack Black is a decent actor when he wants to be, but honestly nowhere near as convincing on screen as PSH. and Robert Downey Jr. as the Riddler would be interesting...he's got a really deadpan delivery that could fit the Riddler well in these new Batman movies. and I don't really like Johnny Depp much, anyway.

i think Man-Bat (aka Dr. Kirk Langstrom) would be a good villain. He is borderline supernatural which would make him hard to defeat. hence, an interesting villain. plus, he has a very interesting backstory.

I'm still firmly in the Black Mask camp. For starters, his inclusion would bring with it more of Bruce Wayne's past, and also add a redemption angle into the premise. Plus, in the comics, Black Mask and his gang kidnap Lucius Fox which I think would help give Fox a far more meaty role in the film. Of course, by default, if you get Black Mask you have to get Catwoman...

Im not too familiar with Black mask. I guess im more of a casual Batman fan like I only know of Joker, Two Face, Riddler Penguin Catwoman, Poison Ivy and Mr. Freeze etc. lol Only villains i see appearing that are popular villains of batman appearing in Batman 3 are Riddler Catwoman and Penguin.
