Honestly, I was scared to watch the anime because I heard the funny character died in it. But really when I went to AX I was part way into season two (don't care about specifics the overall tone of the show changed I consider it season two or second part). This anime surprisingly kills off characters left and right and yet not a moment did I cry out bullshit. They make the way everyone goes down so epic you can't really complain.
