i have this book/cd but im not all that great .
Thanks so much. Just take your time. Learn how to read music and if you can get some good one on one private instruction I highly recommend it.
If you want to get really good it's not enough to just "know" about the things that are possible on a drumkit....you have to start executing them.

Thank you very much Soundmam! Yes - the kit is Fran's black Mapex maple. The red ones in some of the other vids Fran and I have done are his Mapex Birch. I play DW's and I will be using those in future vids very soon.
