It gets better every year! This year they added (not related to the fireworks, which also get better every year!) an American Pop Music Sing-along, in addition to the tried and true patriotic one!

The artist singing the National Anthem in the finale is Sandy Patti. I believe her rendition first caught the public's ear in 1986 when Peter Jennings of ABC "introduced" her. If you Google her name and Star Spangle Banner, you will find several videos of her performing this and other songs. Amazing voice and probably the most stirring version ever!

It was Pyro Spectaculars according to the 2011 Boston Fireworks program.

The 2011 Boston Fireworks program book can be found by searching google for "2011 boston fireworks pdf" and it should be the first thing that comes up. Youtube won't let me post a link. Sorry.
