What you also miss is the Russian investigations on low quality coal and oil used in home cooking throughout Vietnam, the dioxin is quickly absorbed in the cooking oil from the coal. All coal in Vietnam is low quality type.

The dioxin by-product that is produced by AO is classified as a human carcinogen by the National Toxicology Program and is banned for use in the US.

International medical investigators have been asking the govt. of VN to give sample tissue from deformed baby but VN govt. refused to provide any sample. BTW, Brits record in the Cold War aren't better. The Mau-Mau uprising the British committed was horrible as it was of Agent orange etc.

There is no proven scientific connection between agent orange and the genetic problems in Vietnam. AO was sprayed in unpopulated areas. Dioxin is the culprit chemical, dioxin is not an ingredient of any chemicals used by US. dioxin was a contaminant in some batches. However dioxin and furans a related chemical are widely generated in Vietnam every year and the communist party has been warned by the UN health agencies and they have not stopped methods that create large scale dioxin contamination

Therefore their claims that water brought dioxin to their city centers after 40 years is ridiculous, dioxin quickly becomes sediment where it was sprayed beneath human activity after only a few years. That is counter intuitive but those are the facts their claims are false and the current dioxin problems are their creation.

@oxsuperjackxo What you are missing is the fact that dioxin was not an ingredient of agent orange, it was a sometimes contaminant when production was rushed in chemical companies usually in Europe and India that were subcontracted to make the chemical. defoliant. What you also miss is the Russian investigations on low quality coal and oil used in home cooking throughout Vietnam, the dioxin is quickly absorbed in the cooking oil from the coal. All coal in Vietnam is low quality type.

There are two main herbicides used in AO. When combined, it produces a dioxin. Diseases associated with dioxin exposure are chloracne, soft tissue sarcomas, Hodgkin's disease, non-Hodgkin's disease, and diabetes. There are many "inconclusive" links to other cancers and disorders as well. Would you allow your children be exposed to this? The dioxin by-product that is produced by AO is classified as a human carcinogen by the National Toxicology Program and is banned for use in the US.

If you're so sure each picture is of a person affected by AO, then you wouldn't mind posting your references to each picture so that they may be vetted. The "America is Terrible" comment is simply unfounded. The atrocities carried out by the VC were worse by comparison. Not denying that AO was used, but its intent was not to do what you describe. Sexually Transmitted diseases can cause defected baby. Giving the fact that VN is a poor country and its sex business is booming in recent years I dont think agent orange is to blame on. VN has brought the case to a fed court in NY but it was tossed out because of lack of evidents.

Agent orange is a chemical that as it deteroriates, it actually becomes more radioactive, and has been shown to cause severe leukemia and lymph-node mutations in rats. That was only discovered after it had been dumped on Vietnam, however. It also costs $1,000 dollars to take a tissue sample from a child affected by AO (and most of these pictures are of 3RD GENERATION AO babies...dumbass) and about $800 dollars to remove water on the brain from babies suffering hydrocephalus.

If it was safe then the companies that created it wouldn't have settled out of court with the few american and south koreans that filed suit, if it was ever brought to court then the companies involved and the american government would be liable for the blame, the finances of vietnamese farmers supported by charities is nothing in comparison with those of any multinational chemical companies

Every deformed baby in Vietnam is because of agent orange ? Stop to think for a moment. The agent was released in dip jungle where the VC was hiding and now 35 years later city babies get infected ? International medical investigators have been asking the govt. of VN to give sample tissue from deformed baby but VN govt. refused to provide any sample. In reality, the deformed babies are born because of inbreeding, poor folic acid, rubella, and other reasons common in poor countries.
