the Best Drive in Emergency Award goes to Matt Kenseth! Look at 2:15 when he's got a car sliding in front of him, he tries to pass it on the right then realises he can't then escapes on the left!
I don't know if anyone noticed, but Kurt Busch tried to avoid the crash, got into Kevin Harvick, Kevin spun and then Kurt bumped him again straightforward! LOL!
jimmie really has 0 championships. the chase is not a real championship. the old points system crowned TRUE SEASON CHAMPIONS. Nowadays, Nascar thinks its fair to let a guy in 12th place in points 1000 points behind have the same a shot at winning as the season leader. And they wonder why their ratings are going down. I'm the biggest nascar fan you'll meet, and just can't believe they consider Chase Champions to be in the same boat as true ones. Nothing against Jimmie but he IS NOT a 4 time champ
@ChevyCamaro33 its already been proven that Jimme would have won atleast 3 championships regardless under the old points system just because of how good he was, so your point is invalid.
@kharvrules29 Well, if from 2004-2009 they used the 2003 points system, Jimmie would have two championships. And not back to back. I think Jimmie is one of the best drivers of the past decade or so but for people to consider him a 4 time consecutive champion alongside drivers who won it in a different format years back isn't valid since they were won in totally different ways. But his accomplishments as far as Chase championships go is incredible and nobody else may ever do it. It's a trade off.
@BlueOysterCult87 Oh I hate Johnson on the restrictor plate tracks. I always know that if he goes for the win, 9 times out of 10 he'll start a wreck, like at 'Dega earlier this year, and Jeff Gordon had every right to be pissed at him. You don't cut off someone who's 10mph faster than you.
@blaneyrocks22 He sure wouldn't have Chad Knaus, now would he? I'll be honest, I was cheering Dave Blaney on at Talladega when Jeff Gordon won in '07, 'cause I have never seen Dave Blaney in victory lane, so I was hoping he got in the top-3. I was cheering Jeff a little more though 'cause he's my favorite driver. I was PISSED yesterday, 'cause Jeff had that won. Thanks a lot, Steve Letarte.
For a nascar fan your dumb, the 23 turned right not to hit his teammeat, the 22. He turned right in to the 15. The j.l.h.c., are you kidding me. Anything you say about a drivers driving is crap, I've been behind the wheel of a stockcar, those things happen.
lol i know jimmie was frustrated but his interview at the end is probobly an attitude you wont see from him very much anymore nowadays. unless its a rediculous situation.
I'm glad they fixed the restarts so these kind of wrecks don't happen.

Isn't this the same race Kasey was about to win, but then he crashed because NASCAR didn't throw a caution when there was blatantly oil on the track?
JCpatriots 6 months ago
@JCpatriots Yes. NASCAR did a very good job of screwing Kasey out of a victory. Had Kasey won this race, he might've been a title contender.
nascarfanatic2425 5 months ago
Michael either starts the big wrecks, or is caught up in them. That's what happens when you spend the whole race lingering mid-pack.

Jimmie is not any better. I can think of quite a few massive pile up's he has caused since he joined the Cup Series.

Remember The EA Sports 500 in 2005 when Johnson wrecked Elliott Sadler in turn 1 and caused the melee were Waltrip flipped over.

Yes, he is quite a hypocrite especially when he gets on a super speedway.
