@tannen360 I fell in love with Rayne (figuratively) when I saw a full page BloodRayne add in a magazine. I was it and I said to myself "I've got to play that game". Then I did and fell more in love. She's got attitude, dual blades, acrobatic moves, bloodlust and funny one liners. No other female game character compares. She's like Duke Nukem mixed with Prince of Persia wrapped up in leather. :D

@Forbiddengirl100 It is quite interesting. I like it. They're not quite zombies. They're infected by the spider monster things, I think. They don't really explain it that much though. And the infected people will attack the spider things if they're around each other. None the less they're fun to kill and bite. So few vampire games actually let you bite your enemies. It's a shame because drinking blood is awesome. :D You should check out BloodRayne 2 as well. They're both great vamp fun.

@MostExcelent Well in the game full vampires die from touching water. Rayne is a half vampire (dhampir) so she's just slightly hurt. If nothing else it makes the first few levels of the game harder.

@MostExcelent according to vampire myths (not sure what you'd call it) I'm sure that vampires are unable to cross large bodies of moving water (oceans/rivers etc.)

@cybertaylor Yeah they keep popping out of nowhere. Pesky spiders. Although I recon "big momma" is scarier. You know, the huge spider at the end of the Louisianan levels. The werewolf looking vampires are pretty scary too. They just come at you and try to tear you to shreds. They can take a lot of damage too. I just ended up sucking their blood. :D Vamp on vamp action.

@tiesthatbindify Well I have played it by biting enemies non-stop. lol. It's a bit easy though. You have to bite those werewolf vampire looking guys though, otherwise they tear you to pieces. I always get a giggle when you bite a girl one from behind and her six boobies giggle. Gross. I just get in the habit of shooting. I love the rage attacks though. :D Press the rage and attack button at the same time. It's awesome.

Bayonetta kind of creeps me out, but the game seems like a blast. Hopefully I'll get it soon. I wish Terminal Reality would get their act together and make BloodRayne 3. They know we want it. Rayne in HD would blow my mind.

@DarkRayneRules Doing my research...legally they can't ever make another BloodRayne game cause the character design for Rayne is far too similar apparently to the comic Durham Red and paid the price by gettin' sued. However the third movie is supposed to come out in the near future, don't know why though since the second was so bad it doesn't deserve to suck on the nut hair of dr.phil.

Damn I was hoping that was just a load of BS rumors. Stupid legal crap, that's why we'll never get Psi Ops 2 or Goldeneye on Xbox Live Arcade. :( I'd be happy enough to see a spin-off starring Mynce, or maybe an all new dhampir. I just like vampires, guns and dual blades. No other game has come close since. I guess I'll just have to settle for playing BR1 over and over. I love the shoe sound too, and the cute little blood shoe prints she leaves after walking across blood. :) And I love that if you do that double jump in slow-mo you can see she has her arms crossed across her chest like how they place people in coffins. I'm a sucker for little touches. BR2 took out some good stuff, like I miss proper side flips, picking up enemies guns, shooting while blade attacking, feeding on knocked down enemies, jumping uber high. Fingers crossed for BR3 with best of both.

Minus the graphics, Rayne was much cooler in the first game. The second one she's seem too human and looses some of her sex appeal, just the way she speaks in the first one makes me hard, lol.

I think she's just as hot in the 2nd one, but the gameplay in the 1st game is more intensive, you cant run and slash in the sequel and I feel mundane that way... Still, both are are rly fun.

I like them both. BR1 has a nice historical setting, and the running and gunning is very fun. But BR2 has a much deeper combat system with the blade and melee combos, more powers and those neat rage building finishing moves. The harpoon and aiming are a bit hard to control, but you get over it. I love BR1 and BR2. I suppose I get more out of BR2, but I still love playing BR1 for the challenge.

I like both too. I find BR1 very fun. I liked teh nice historical setting.BR2 is awesome too..but I'll always hate that damn harpoon! xP but in BR2 she doesn't really feel "Damphir" In BR1 she could jump very high, like 20 feet or something and she runs very fast. BR2 has a nicer combat system though. They're both awesome, I'm not a fan of "kill-the-shit-out-of-everyone­" games but I like these xD

They have one big problem though, Rayne's not connected to the environment that much.

Yeah I loved being able to jump really high. It was awesome but I suppose BR2 makes up for that with the pole swinging and back flips and stuff. :p BR3 FTW. I'll die if they never make a BR3. There just isn't anything quite like BR out there, and games which are similar aren't as good. You could always go for a male lead game, but wheres the fun in that? :( I want BR3 NOW! Here's hoping Terminal Reality and Majesco see fit to give us some more Rayne. Mmmm... next gen BloodRayne *drools*.

you know the game looks fun but the weapons seem like cheap rip off of many real weapons like the so called "W&S 1917" revolver is a copy of the S&W 1932 cap-and-ball revolver.

I always figured they were just real weapons. Shows how much I know about weapon names. Hmmm they're probably just called different names for copyright sake. Trust me when you're playing you're too busy killing stuff to notice the name of the gun you're using.
