  • Is this a SP23 or just the 2L?

  • Nice nice I did the same thing too with my 2006 mazda 3 and I paid around that price, 65. I don't think I'll get an exhaust but what do you think of an intake? I don't know much about cars but I heard intake is good? if so which one?

  • the mazda 3 has got the be one the best sounding 4 bangers out there

  • @carrionpvp After Subaru boxer 4's

  • proffesion:

    -son

  • sound like my lawn mower ^^

  • Your car is such a beauty.

  • ah I have this car!!!! It yours a 2006 Mazda 3? I've been wanting to do something like this for a while. Where did you buy the equipment? I'd really appreciate the help.

  • what kind? car? its a mazda 3 sport GT. the exhaust is custom. see my other video for more information on what I did.

  • sounds like an evo

  • not really bro i wish it did though heheheh

  • evo's sound sexy.

not sure why people thumbs downed you comment.

  • это не мпс.100 %. у нее двиг совсем по другому работает

  • If I get the MS3 I wna take off the speed written at the back and put Mazda3 :P ppl wouldn't know:p

  • lol, most people wouldn't know the difference if you wrote it down the side.

People are all the time mistaking my 04 hatch for a Speed3 lol

    dumbasses.

  • idk... im thinking of either waiting to do the exhaust after i get a body kit or just do it now...

  • I'd say do it now....why not? It's a cheap upgrade that will give the car a different feel, sound wise.

  • true true very true some of my buddies were saying that shit anyway, if you can get cheap upgrades you want you might as well go for it, but i dont have this type i have the sedan but hey either way i wanted to make it into a tuner type anyway.

  • I have a lot of respect for sedans! The have a completely different look to them when tastefully modded compared to the hatch. I say go for it, do the exhaust (considering it will be the same price, exhaust is the same on both cars). If anything it will be a great mod to hold you over until the body kit ;)

  • For sure i used to have a 93 civic sedan and it had an exhaust, and my mom used to have a 2000 chevy malibu on 20"s, in every sedan you could do SOMETHING

  • true true very true some of my buddies were tellin me that anyway. If you want cheap upgrades then i think its best to just go ahead and get them that way you can do a lot more for a lot less.

  • True, but cheap upgrades does not mean it is necessarily sacrificing quality. I stood under the car while it was being welded and had it gone over about 3 times to make sure the project was completed correctly. I just did it this way because money was tight and i figured I could get reasonable sound with breaking the bank.

  • where can i buy the body kid for this car? because i have this car in blue :)

  • Hey man, which color silver is that?

  • Hey man, which silver is your car? Is it the Metropolitan gray mica, the galaxy gray mica, or the sunlight silver metallic? thanks in advance! :D

  • It is titanium gray

  • what u gona do when smog check needs to be done?

  • Actually had it done last month. Didnt have a single issue with it. Car was tested as normal and passed fine. The cat has always been in place.

  • All that was done was the stock muffler was removed and a straight pipe was installed. Since then I have added a "y" pipe and dualed out the rear...still keeping the setup before just with it dualed out. Video soon....

  • haha

thats exactly what i did to my Camry at first too.

just a pipe w/out the stock muffler.

but you should really invest in a nice muffler.

spend $100 on a magnaflow or a flowmaster. it'll give you that nice deep tone. that way you don't sound like a motorcycle at 3500+ rpms. at least thats the problem i had.

plus it was a bit too loud.

just a thought. gj on the Diy though.

i did mine myself too. =]

    props! =]

  • damn dude that sounds so good. i just got a mazda 3 2.3 sedan and im lookin to make it purr nicely. you got any tips?

  • nice man sounds good. i have a mazda 3 hatch as well. check out my videos!

  • Hey, iam thinking of doing this, did you replace the 2nd cat with a straight pipe??

  • stock size pipe is 2". I did the same thing spent 80, and got 2.25" put in instead of the muffler. Got a magnaflow tip on it(50). Haha it cost me more than the install.

  • where did you purchase your pipe?

  • Hey, Im going to make the same with my SP23, you see the thing that cross fast in your video, looks like a UFO or something , look it!!

  • Sounds good and loads cheaper then my Trubendz cat back.

  • did u do this yourself? or went to like a custom shop and got it done?

  • is the sound louder than a hks hi-power catback? or no

  • Those things have RESONATORS????? Dear lord, WHAT will they think of next?

  • Any noticable power gain without the muffler?

  • So all you did was replace the stock pipe? Hell of a lot cheaper than a whole new exhaust system. =)

  • sounds sweet bro. i removed my res but left the stock muffler on a chevy but like ur setup really good.

  • sounds awesome, did you install larger pipe in place of the muffler or use stock size pipe 2.25 in?

  • so you just removed the rear most muffler and put in a straight pipe there correct. all i really want from my exhaust is a nice mazdaspeed like sound and this seems to be the way to go.

  • nice

  • rly nice looking exhaust!
