Idk. this recession is starting to scare me. We are 39 trillion dollars in debt and still spending money. Just today an article in the news paper said the dollar is extremely low. Obama's rock-star image is a good thing, as far as I can see. The man has to get people's attention to explain why they have nothing to gain by voting for the wierd old crumudgeon who thinks that Bush is a good war leader. People are coming out to see Obama for the same reason that they will come out to see one rock star and not another. He can connect with the people. All kinds of people. That's what makes the difference between filling a sports arena or a garage.

Yes, Cenk has talked down about all Religion. But he had an interview with a Kabbalist leader and he said that it was the most appealing Religion to him because there are no rules, no Dogma, and pretty much no religious constraints.

The media need to spin Obama's popularity because it's in the interest of the media to play out the drama so everyone will watch the news. If they admit that the election is a foregone conclusion then people will stop paying attention, and the consequent drop in ratings will piss off the stockholders.

You have to remember that you're dealing with a group that will do ANYTHING to besmirch Obama's name. Repubs will try to portray Obama as Mr. Cool in the hopes that the intrinsic backlash people have for that will kick in. Look at Rove's 'corner of the country club' statement.
