According to Tom Waits, music is just one of the many interesting things one can do with air. Thank God the guys from Radiohead agree with him so completely.
Loved this album from the get go! It's spectacular that these guys change it up a little every time and to see how much they've evolved since albums like Kid A and Pablo Honey.
There was a point, i thought radiohead was just another emo shit brit. Wow have they blown that thought into nothingness. All of their Albums are MIND BLOWNING, nothing gets better.

@AlfredTwyman96 same here I was very skeptical about that album too but now that I heard it a few times I fucking love it just like the other albums and this is my favourite song from their new album
@adultuser111 I'm not saying simple music sucks, I'm saying that sttling, scratch that, being stuck with the same and simple chord progression is being unoriginal. sure, a musician can have simple, but yet beautiful songs, but it's no big deal as long as he/she looks for new things
Thom is the reason for all life. He created us. You are my GOD Thom. I will do whatever you say. Even if you told me to eat my own shit and wash it down with some piss. OBEY Thom the bible says.
@OliverLionXD As Thom Yorke said, the only depressing music that exists is the one that contains no passion or will, like hit radio music. Just the fact that someone managed to translate sadness into music is already an uplifting thing.
My opinion of this song is the universal feeling of being perfectly fine while being alone at the same time. It's about personal reflection about one's surroundings.
I just heard this song live on Palladia (Music Channel) and blew my mind away......first time I bought anything by Radiohead and won;t be the last.....this song is so hunting and not about suicide....it's actually about re-birth/starting over

Well Gallagher can talk all the shit he wants. Yeah, so you can mock Thom and his 1,000 year old tree, Gallagher, while you play Wonderwall for the billionth time.
@Badoosh45 I wouldn't take notice of Gallagher's comments - he recently called brother Noel a 'shitbag' via twitter which is sad considering Liam owes all his success simply down to Noel. The talent difference between the two will be seen for all when Noel releases his solo album.
Liam gallgher on Radiohead’s ‘The King Of Limbs;: "I heard that fucking Radiohead record and I just go, ‘What?!’ I like to think that what we do, we do fucking well. Them writing a song about a fucking tree? Give me a fucking break! A thousand year old tree? Go fuck yourself!"
This comment has received too many negative votesshow

@Carthsgtr Lol, who is the producer to tell the band what to do? Idiot.
If you don't like the album then why are you listening to this? I admit I don't think it's there best but it is still a good album, and this song especially is just brilliant.

Radiohead is the most original living band. not a challenge to tell you the reasons cause you won't understand anyways. what about YOU giving ME a reason why they aren't original huh??
and by the way. when you insult the way Thom Yorke sings, you're already showing you know nothing about music
@etejuanete3 I always have hardcore sex with this song.... Its amazing just like this SONG.. Drink a brew give her a wine cooler put this song on... Amazing
Theyre music is unoriginal. youwant reasons. And the music is only difficult to follow if you haven't got a note in your head you knob.
@theleadsinger93 so settling for a simple chord is being a good musician ? dude your music concept is screwed up. being original is CHANGING, looking for something musicaly new, something with a real and sometimes hidden meaning. not being stuck with simple and repetitive things, adding extra atmosphere to the song like in Myxomatosis (the voice IS an atmosphere), and speak for yourself, you have to think to understand his lyrics, but maybe thinking is a new concept for you
@etejuanete3 A little rough but good point... Being a very "touching" or "moving song" it's the feel and the energy that I experience and the simplicity adds instead of taking away. Sometimes music is so complex and changes chords and progressions so often that the energy shifts IME... Anyway, I think most will agree that they are all very talented and this song is beautiful. Simplicity is sometimes more... enjoy.
@theleadsinger93 You seem like a very unhappy person,go and get well and maybe someday you can come hang and join the crowd and enjoy what we are listening to.You come into a thread and bitch and whine and your bruised ego just screams for attention. Are you jealous you are not a famous musician or something?Really, your post just shows how miserable you are, there is a whole world full of help, maybe it's time to go get some.Take care of yourself and try to have some fun w/o dragging others down

I think The King of limbs is one of those albums where you have to sit and just listen to the whole thing your first time. It's not like say... ok computer where you could just hear a song and fall in love. There's no 'paranoid android' on this album. The majority of people will never realize how hauntingly beautiful TKOL is because their looking for that one incredible song, rather than feeling the flow of the music track by track.
honestly guys i know no one asked me but i find it a lil distasteful that the song from the new album getting the most attention has the least of radiohead in it and it sounds like the only song on the album thats in a mostly major key... for non music folk, basically, every pop song is in major key. GREAT SONG. but i bet thom yorke is disappointed in himself right now
@oObadphishOo ..Great point!!! Sometimes the most popular songs are never my favorites or what I would consider a great representation of the art and talent of the band. And as for the marketing of bands, I do sometimes hate all that is wrapped up in that, but for the part of it that brings amazing artists to me, that I can look beyond the "hit" and find the true beauty...I'll take it.
@theleadsinger93 HOW OLD ARE YOU? omg... Radiohead shit???? So, what is a good band for you? Oh... ok you're a "Creep" fan, because that song means too much for you... that's fine!
Name you're band after an evil corporation, good job! It's funny because they don't want people to know about Codex (not the band) and sure as shit, less comes up now when I search for it because this stupid band shows up 30 times. This band sucks and if you care for you and you're families life you might want to look into the Codex Alimentarius.
@Arcknagar1 dude, the name of the band is Radiohead, not Codex. And this band is one of the best i've ever heard (especially when high :D ) so shut the fuck up hating on a band that you're not into just because they have a song with the same name as a corp. that you think is "evil"
According to Tom Waits, music is just one of the many interesting things one can do with air. Thank God the guys from Radiohead agree with him so completely.

@Arcknagar1 You've got a problem dude!!!
chojuancho 10 months ago 2
@Arcknagar1 dude, the name of the band is Radiohead, not Codex. And this band is one of the best i've ever heard (especially when high :D ) so shut the fuck up hating on a band that you're not into just because they have a song with the same name as a corp. that you think is "evil"
sincerely you're mother

@Arcknagar1 Yea i hate this damn Codex band too...they should listen to a real band like Radiohead or something ;) BWAHAHAHAHA. U crack me up.

@Arcknagar1 LOL if you believe in the Codex Alimentarius, you might want to go back to 2nd grade.
