  • Hey man , just a quick question. I have an epiphone les paul goldtop and I'd like to get these alnico pro pickups , do I need mounting rings to apply these pickups?

  • whats the diff between this and the slash model?

  • Hello .. I am thinking of buying a slash pickups alnico 2 pro for my epiphone les paul standard. is a good investment for epiphone? thank you ;)

  • would love to hear how chords sound through the treble.

  • Hello What color is your guitar?

What model is your guitar? =)

  • Nice! :)

  • It's almost impossible to get any idea of the character of a pickup when it's swamped with reverb like that.

  • @goss1961 Or loaded with gain. I can't find any clean vids.

  • when you buy them, do you have to buy 2? or do they come in a pair

  • @deleonjayXXL You cant get them either in pairs or separetely man !

  • @superguitarduo so your saying these pickups are unavailable to the public..... thats not true. Ive found them in multiple guitar stores. and to answer @deleonjayXXL honestly they come in individual packages for like $100 each

  • hey, I have a question. can you put nickel covers from the original pickups and put them on these...or buy new nickel covers and put them on these pickups...thanks

  • i think they already make them like that bro ! you can find them in ebay just type Seymour Duncan APH-1n Alnico II Pro Humbucker Neck Nkl

  • surely putting $150 worth of pickups into an epiphone is a waste? :P

  • @Snakebloke

LOL, not when you're going to have it for a few years, and there is more point to upgrading an average guitar than a really expensive gibson that's already good. so yeah...SIT DOWN

  • @Snakebloke epi mid range- high end lespauls are brilliant guitars play nice and dont cost an arm and a leg i actually preffered the feel of my epi standard to a gibson standard i played not long back so .... im gonna go with its not a waste ;P

  • @richaphobia Fair point ^^

  • @Snakebloke I'd agree and disagree, on the cheaper epi's yeah probably , my standard sounds great with them , mind you , it all comes down to how well you can play .

  • yeahh man ! i got them as an upgrade ! i used to have a stock epi and a gibson burstbucker and let mee tell you man ! you will TELL the difference ! they have an incredible sustain durin high gains and you get a really crispy slash like distortion ! and in clean channel they can get very jazzy ! i would definitely recommend these bad boys

  • Would you recommened these pickups?? Good job by the way!!

  • @scottofnz yeahhh ! theyre really good pickups for your first upgrade from stock pickups lets say

  • great!
