Membership for scientology has plummeted over the last couple years to the point where there are only about 50,000 left world wide, and I believe it is through the constant action of people like this, as well as the numerous documentaries and books written on the subject, that is protecting people from being fooled. It's true the scientologist is very eloquent, but he uses a lot of 'key wording' to help himself through his marketing scam. He seems to have memorized chunks of this, and doesn't um/uh through those bits.

This is funny. Fucking with Scientologists is a fun hobby. I used to dive bomb their security guards and uniformed "sailors" with my bicycle at high speed. I after a couple weeks of doing this, they actually were waiting and followed me in a car. I rode a couple blocks over to a police station and they kept going...ahahaha assholes.

@roboptions first of all thats BS modern day historians have to go through the exact same process scientist do. no historians work is taken seriously who doesn't go through the criticizing phase. If your work as a historian is biased it becomes extremely obvious and no one takes the work seriously. Also STORIES aren't the only means historians have for collecting data. A story that is supported by evidence and the facts are more likely the case then some ones story which has no verification

It's true the scientologist is very eloquent, but he uses a lot of 'key wording' to help himself through his marketing scam. He seems to have memorized chunks of this, and doesn't um/uh through those bits.
Another interesting thing about Scientologists in interviews is that they blink a lot whenever they come to a problem point. And it seems the organizaton blanket covers any bad press within itself. It's a small step, but this is still a step forward from bagging people out on the net. Grats.
