@TailsBit You can use it on the ground, too. It absorbs energy shots (Fox's Blaster, Pikachu's Thunder, etc.) and heals him. Also, after you let go of B, it will slightly push away characters close to you.

@MrSamuelsolano its just opinion-based. lucas is a more damaging character, while Ness is more strategy-based.

A few key differeces:

Lucas' PKFire does instant damage, but Ness' will creat a fire "spout" to create residual damage.

Ness' PK fire is affected by gravity, and will slope downwards if you fire it from the air. Lucas' will not.

Ness has PK Flash(green burst of damage-inflicting light), leaving Lucas with PK freeze(freezes enemies).

@MrSamuelsolano If Lucas hits himself with hi pkthunder, he hits the opponent multiple times, much like Pika's down smash. Ness wil hit the oppenent once, resembling his PK Flash.

Overall, i don't think using PK Fire in stage like F.Destination is good. PK Fire is more effective in stage like Mario circuit or /bridge of Eldin. and to be honest, there's nothing special 'bout this fight
