The reason they sound like stephen hawking is because you can't understand the original audio is in english. As in UK english, you cant understand SHIT
I admire his dedication, but I think he may be overzealous if he does this to the exclusion of all else. He says that he has no time for friends, previously he called the organ his old friend. To each their own, but I personally find that music is not something I do at the cost of all else in the world.
It sounds to me like he has a weight on his shoulders that was put there by his parents and their high expectations. Now his youth disappears while he tries in vain to compete with Bach.
I use to think I was a organ nut but u beat me by miles matey. It's rather deep u need to get out and enjoy life and your youth instead of allowing your soul to be wrapped up in the one subject. I play the Organ for services and teach but have a life a swell. I enjoy dining out going to lunch with my friends or the theatre. I the impression I get from this clip is that this is all u do 24hrs a day maybe.
Being an organist is a way to satisfy an inner urge to create and to allow the soul to soar. You help yourself and others. Sometimes I wish churches didn't have services...just musicians making beautiful music with people meditating and praying privately. No talking. Leave the lights off so the stained-glass windows appear at their brilliant best. God doesn't want to be worshiped...just respected and communed with...to make you a better person...so you can make a better world. Peace on Earth.
Its trendy to invent your own notions of what God does and doesn't want, I've noticed. God is whatever you think he is, and everybody is right. Don't think about this too hard.
I disagree with the notion that you must sacrifice your personal life for work. You should enjoy your youth, because it only comes once. You will have the rest of your life to play the organ. It should not require so much time if you pour in your concentration and talent in the times that you practice. It is not the quantity of practice, but the quality that counts.
Thanks for doing this video in English. You have a wonderful organ to play. I have been an organist for many years, but have only had the opportunity to play an organ like yours a few times in my life here in the USA. Yes, you have chosen a road less often taken, but I believe you have made a good choice. I enjoyed your playing of the Dorian toccata. In "serving the music" as you say, you are also serving God in an important way. I hope you really believe that.

This sounds like Steven Hawking and his wife are narrating this video.

God does want to be worshipped but through music that worships Him in my view. But I agree on your other points.

I think the Psalms would disagree with you there!
