Yes I agree, the churches today need to get the old red back hymnal out and sing to this generation of Young People these songs,, they really get you through some hard times.. I love these old songs, we sing them all the time at our church!

Hey y'all! We need to get our "contemporary" churches to dust off those old "Red Back Hymnals" and PUT 'EM BACK IN USE! People are going through heavy-duty PAIN these days and they need more than "patty-cake", THEY NEED HOLY GHOST POWER! The old hymns have the goods because they were written and sung in HARD TIMES, by people who HAD TO live by faith, 'cause there was NO OTHER WAY!
