I am from Valley City Ohio and would be quite interested in seeing the newspaper write ups on the boy, to my knowledge I have never heard of that. The witches ball collects heat during the day and radiates the heat at night, so it stays hot during the night. I used to be one of those kids that would go hang out at the witches ball at night, we would chase other people out of there to scare them. There was no satanism going on!

I liked the video but I grew up on Myrtle hill and my parents still live there I also went to Buckeye High and it is no where near Boston rd. It's located on Rt. 252 Columbia rd. When I would drive by late at night/morning in the fall you could see the witches ball and it seemed to glow but that was most likely the moon's reflection.

This is crap. I lived a quarter mile down the road from this cemetery. I never heard about this. The guy isn't familiar with the area because Buckeye is on 252 not Boston. The people that chased them out were probably people having some fun with him who wandered over from one of my parties. I like they visited the Wolf grave, pretty well known name in the area, and all nice people.

I GREW UP IN VALLEY CITY I,M 55 YRS. WHO EVER THIS DAVE IS , YOU MIGHT WANT TO PUT YOUR BOOTS ON BECAUSE IT'S GETTING DEEP. THE SO CALLED WITCHES BALL START FROM KIDS GOING IN AT NIGHT AND COULDN'T UNDERSTAND WHY A DARK COLORED BALL IN THE HOT SUN COULD STILL BE HOT AT NIGHT. THE FAMILY NAME ON THAT BALL IS WELL KNOWN IN TOWN AND THERE IS NO WITCH BURIED THERE. Very creative, I must say... BUT Boston Rd isn't near Buckeye High; there are Stoskopfs all over Medina Co and it isn't unusual to put only a family name on a marker; the deaths of Buckeye students are (or were) from farm accidents and the tracks north of the high school. We moved to Valley City in 1975, and I've never heard of this legend.

I didn't believe the gentleman telling the TALE so I made some calls & found no such story about a young student murdered. HOWEVER, there is often grains of truth behind legends & I do think something bad happened to a young boy in that shed. I base this on my feelings in there, & the evps recorded. We are aware of obelisks & only mentioned the name Stoskopts as it had such a grande one (at least I knew that). Appreciate you taking the time to leave such detailed comments. Enjoy the weekend! =)

I lived in Valley City or Medina County for 40 years, also worked for Buckeye Schools for 25 yrs. Never heard of death of a Buckeye student during the 40 years. I don't believe this is a true story.

I live on Myrtle Hill Rod. as well. I moved here only about 3 or 4 years ago, and Ive heard stories. But Ive never thought of investigating or looking into it.

The "Mary" EVP sounds unusally clear for an EVP caught at a cemetary. Usually, we catch EVPs that have lots of background noises (because the cemetaries are by streets, unfortunately), or that are simply VERY faint. Very VERY good work! I would love to work with you, and with Chris as well. :)

Another great vid...I wonder if you could elaborate on the finding of the dead boy. You mention only parts of the body being found in the public toilet...not inclusive of the head. Was the rest of the body ever found? Love & EVPs, B
